You bought them for nappies. Here are three things they do just as well.

The built-in handles aren't only for carrying. Grip one in each hand and knot it shut without touching what's inside. Faster and cleaner at 3am.

Keep a few in the bathroom too. They're certified for sanitary disposal, so they lock in odour exactly the way they do in the nursery.

And the mark that makes all of this worth trusting: EN 13432 on the box. A verified composting standard that backs up every eco claim. Worth checking before you hand any bag your waste stream.

Our Compostable Nappy Bags in Blue are extra thick, tear-resistant, and TUV certified home compostable. 🌿

The handles on your nappy bag are doing more work than you think.

Most parents tie a knot, double up, and never look at them again. Three small habits change that.

Use the handles to seal. They're built for a no-touch tie: loop them together straight after sealing and you lock in odour without touching the outside of the bag. No extra knot needed.

Know what EN 13432 means. It's the European standard for compostable packaging, so the bag breaks down under certified conditions rather than just "eventually". Pastiko's nappy bags meet it.

One bag is enough. The extra-thick construction handles a heavy or wet nappy without stretching, so double-bagging just wastes material and defeats the point.

Cleaner changes, less waste, no compromises. 🌿

A standard plastic poo bag can sit in a hedgerow for 500 years. One walk. Five centuries.

That maths never sits right with us. So ours don't work that way.

Our bags are plant-based and certified compostable, made to break down along with what's inside instead of outlasting the dog, the walk, and the tree they might get tied to.

You get 120 bags per box. Eight rolls, roughly two months of walks. A small swap tucked into a routine that already happens twice a day. 🌿

The park stays the park. The dog stays the dog. The bag quietly does its bit and goes.

Four sizes come in the bundle. Most households only ever reach for one at a time.

That's the point. The 6L lives in the caddy and lifts out before things go soggy. The 10L fits vanity and office bins without bunching up in the corners. The 30L takes on the main kitchen bin, damp coffee grounds and Sunday roast scraps included.

Then there's the 70L, the one that quietly saves the day when a clearout, a garden tidy, or a post-party cleanup lands in your lap.

Right bag, right bin. Nothing bought that sits unused in the cupboard, nothing wasted. Every roll is certified home compostable, so the food waste liner goes straight onto the heap and breaks down naturally. 🌿

UK households throw away around 9.5 million tonnes of food a year. Over 60% of it goes to landfill instead of compost.

Three numbers worth knowing.

9.5 million tonnes in one year. The gap between what could be diverted and what actually gets composted is still enormous.

8x more heat. When food breaks down in landfill without oxygen, it makes methane, which traps roughly 80 times more heat than CO2 over 20 years. Compost the same scraps and aerobic breakdown produces far less.

8 to 12 weeks. That's how long a well-managed home compost bin takes to turn scraps into usable compost. Moisture balance, how often you turn it, and what goes in all shift that timeline.

The habit only sticks if collecting scraps is easy. Our 6L Kitchen Caddy Liners let you gather food waste cleanly. Sturdy and leak-free, so the caddy trip doesn't become the reason you give up. 🌿

Small daily choices, measured at scale, add up to a number worth knowing.

Summer heat turns a food caddy into a science experiment by Wednesday.

Warmth speeds up moisture. Moisture pulls at seams. That's exactly where a 30L liner earns its keep, or doesn't.

Ours is 20% thicker than the usual supermarket compostable, with a sealed base that holds through damp coffee grounds, August peach stones, and whatever ends up in there after a long evening.

Plant-based material, certified for both TUV Home OK Compost and TUV Industrial Compost. So it breaks down properly whether it goes to your heap at the bottom of the garden or the council facility.

July heat turns a kitchen caddy from quiet helper to problem in about 48 hours.

If you've ever caught that warm-weather whiff on your way to the bin, you know the feeling. The good news is it takes very little to stay ahead of it.

Three small habits keep ours fresh through the warm months:

Cool your food scraps for five minutes before they hit the liner. Swap liners a day sooner than you would in winter. And a thin layer of baking soda under the liner absorbs what the heat stirs up.

None of it is complicated. Just a slightly tweaked routine for the season, and a caddy that behaves itself all summer.

A conventional plastic caddy liner can linger in landfill for 400+ years. Ours breaks down in months.

That's the difference TUV certification makes. Home OK Compost means the bag composts in a garden heap within 12 months. Industrial Compost means it also breaks down at 55-60°C in the council facilities where most UK food waste ends up.

Our 6L liners carry both, so wherever your food waste goes, the bag goes with it. No guessing at the label, no plastic hanging around for generations.

Plant-based material, sturdy enough for damp coffee grounds and Sunday roast scraps, with a snug fit in a standard kitchen caddy.

Melon rinds at 28°C turn into a smell problem by day two.

Summer heat speeds everything up inside a kitchen caddy. Damp coffee grounds, fruit peelings, warm pasta scraps. All of it starts working against you faster than it does in winter.

A few small habits keep things in check. Swap the liner every 2-3 days. Layer a bit of dry waste at the bottom, like a torn paper towel or a scrap of cardboard. And let hot leftovers cool for a few minutes before they go in.

Our 6L compostable caddy liners are made for exactly this. Sturdy, leak-free, and TUV certified home compostable. £6.99 for 50. 🌿

A standard plastic poo bag can sit in landfill for 500 years. The dog who used it won't make it past 15.

That gap never quite sat right with us. Every walk, every bag tied and binned, another bit of plastic left behind to outlast the pet it was picked up for.

So we made a better one. Our Compostable Dog P**p Bags are plant-based and certified to break down naturally alongside the waste inside. No plastic hanging around for centuries.

The everyday details matter too. They're 20% thicker than the average bag, sealed tight at the base, and easy to tie one-handed while you've still got the lead in the other. 🌿

120 bags per box, eight rolls of 15. Roughly two months of walks sorted.

A small swap that outlasts nothing, on purpose.
