💚🐾 Celebrating International Veterinary Nurse Day! 🐾💚

Many of you will already know our wonderful nurse Marlie, and today we have an extra special reason to celebrate her! 🥳
We would like to congratulate Marlie on recently passing her final exams to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)! 🎓🩺
We’re so proud of all her hard work and can’t wait to see her continue to grow in her nursing career!

A few fun facts about Marlie:
🐰 She’s a big rabbit lover and has a bunny of her own, Naomi, who was rescued as a stray from our sister branch, Streatham Hill Vets. 💕
🦒 Her favourite animal is a giraffe!
👗 She loves fashion, especially hunting for unique finds when charity shopping. ♻️✨

Meet Meghan! 💙

Some of you may recognise our new receptionist Meghan, who has joined us from our sister clinic, Streatham Hill Vets! She’s a big cat lover and has two cats of her own. 🐱🐱

🐾✈️ Bon voyage, Leo! 🇪🇺🐶
Handsome Leo recently popped in to see us for his Animal Health Certificate (AHC) so that he’s all set for his European holiday! 🌞🏖️

Before travelling to the EU, pets need a valid rabies vaccination and an Animal Health Certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian such as our vet Amelia. We were delighted to help Leo get his travel paperwork sorted so he can enjoy his adventures abroad. 🐾📋

Leo was extremely patient while vet Amelia carefully filled out the important paperwork during his visit, and is now one step closer to his holiday!

If you’re planning a trip to the EU with your dog, cat or ferret, remember that the Animal Health Certificate must be issued within 10 days of travel, and your pet’s rabies vaccination must have been given at least 22 days beforehand.

🐾 Six tiny Yorkshire Terrier puppies, one very exciting milestone! 💉💛

Today we welcomed this adorable gang of 6 baby Yorkies for their very first vet visit and first vaccinations before they head off to their forever homes. 🏡✨

Their health checks were full of wagging tails, curious sniffs, and plenty of cuddles (with just a few brave faces for the injections!). They’re now one step closer to starting their next big adventure with their new families.

Good luck, little ones – we know you’re going to bring so much joy wherever you go! 🐶💕

🐱💚 A very warm welcome to Pashmak! 💚🐱

Today was Pashmak’s very first visit to the vets, and we’re so proud of how brave he was! He took his first vaccination like a champion and charmed everyone he met with his sweet personality, especially vet Isabel! 🥹✨

Kitten vaccinations are an important step in protecting your little one from serious infectious diseases and helping them get the best start in life. Pashmak will be back to see us in a few weeks for his second vaccination, and we can’t wait to see how much he’s grown! 🐾

Well done, Pashmak, you were an absolute superstar! We look forward to seeing you again soon for more treats and cuddles at your next visit 💚🐈

A familiar face brightened our day today! 🍓🐾

Lula, one of our favourite frequent flyers, popped into Tooting Vets for her vaccinations with vet Amelia today, looking as stylish as ever in her adorable strawberry harness. ❤️

She took everything in her stride (with plenty of treats and fuss, of course!) and was an absolute superstar from start to finish.

It’s always a pleasure to see you, Lula—we’ll be looking forward to your next visit already! 🥰

Recovery cuddles are the best kind of cuddles. 💙

Meet Mae, who came to Tooting Vets on Tuesday for her spay. She was an absolute superstar throughout her procedure, and we’re so pleased to say everything went brilliantly.

Today she came back for her first post-op check, where she was feeling bright, happy, and making the most of some well-deserved fuss from our receptionist, Mark. 🐾

Wishing you a smooth recovery, Mae—we can’t wait to see you back to your cheeky self in no time! 💕

💖 Pretty in pink! 💖

Smudge was a superstar today when she came in for her spay procedure with vet Amelia. After lots of reassuring cuddles, she headed home looking very stylish in her bright pink recovery bodysuit! 🌸🐱

Did you know that a recovery bodysuit can be a great alternative to the traditional cone after surgery? For many cats, it can be more comfortable while still helping to protect the surgical site from licking. Every pet is different, so we’ll always recommend the option that’s best suited to them. 🐾
