We are looking for a friendly and organised Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. The position is for 4 hours per day, 4-5 days a week - with some flexibility around working hours if required. The role will also include one Saturday morning in four 8:30am - 12:00pm. Previous experience would be helpful.

Anderson Vets is looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) to join our friendly team in Bromley Common.

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be confident, caring and happy to work in a small close team.
Duties will include:

• Preparing patients and equipment for surgery
• Assisting the veterinary team during procedures
• Running blood tests
• Assisting with X-rays
• Cleaning, sterilising and operating the autoclave
• Safely restraining and handling animals
• Assisting with clipping claws and assisting with routine patient care
• Carrying out general VCA and practice

Location: Bromley Common BR2 9RJ

What we are looking for:

- Someone who is happy to work and assist the nurses and vets

- Clean and prepare kennels for in patients

- Run bloods, urine analysis and more using our in-house laboratory

- Prepare surgical kits and drapes

- operate the autoclave machine for sterilisation of kits and drapes

- operate the centrifuge machine

- Do all aspects of cleaning in the clinic

- Restrain animals for clipping claws, taking blood samples, placing IV catheters

- Download X-rays onto client files

- work well within a small family like team

- Good communication skills

- No OOH

- No working on bank holidays

- Flexible on hours within reason

FOUND CAT

A young ( approx 6months) un-neutered male cat has been brought into us, He is wearing a collar, no microchip.
Very friendly little boy.
Found on Broomfield road last night.

Please help us reunite him with his family.

Thank you for all your help.

George the run away cat has been found!!! The owners never gave up searching day and night. They have just found him under a shed. We are all so happy for them and thank everyone who helped look for him.
