I’ve had 3 visits with Mia this week. I’ve looked after her once before a few years ago. Last time she spent the whole time on top of the wardrobe hiding. This time she did come down and slinked round my legs. She was giving me mixed messages though, if I tried to touch her she swiped me with her murder mittens. The little ‘meow’ on the clip was her saying ‘NO’ when I asked if I could stroke her. So I happily let her rub herself against me without the customary pets…maybe next time Mia.

I’ve had several visits with the gorgeous Tilly recently. She is just the sweetest old lady who knows exactly what she wants…play, fusses and treats…oh and to sleep in her comfy bed under the nice warm airer.

I’ve spent a week with Ed and Annie. Ed was out-of-sorts for some of the time, which meant I hung around longer to ensure he’d eat something. I kept his human updated on how he was doing…guess what, today (the day they are coming back) he was his normal playful self. Which I’m very happy about. Annie was her usual playful self. As well as playing she loves to look out the window and check on the neighbours
