It’s frosty out there and with that comes grit and salt on pavements. The chemicals in these can irritate dogs paws and pads so remember to wash paws thoroughly after walks and use a paw balm to keep pads from cracking.

This is beautiful Scout, a rescue dog from Greece. She came to owner Ellie and me in a bad way…nervous, reactive, her fur and skin in bad condition, and such sadness in her eyes after suffering abuse. Her new owner Ellie was determined to turn Scout’s life around. We started with her nutrition which made such a difference to her fur and skin and behaviour too. And consistent, positive training has helped regain trust. You can see such change in her eyes too. When I first met Scout, I could only get 3-4 feet away - and by the end of her training, I got a stand up hug from her! I have loved every minute of working with Scout and dedicated owner Ellie.
