As temperatures rise over the next week, itβs vital to remember the dangers of leaving your dog in a car even for just a couple of minutes. Cars can become dangerously hot very quickly, putting dogs at serious risk of heat stroke and death.
β οΈ Know the signs of heat stroke:
β’ Excessive panting
β’ Drooling
β’ Lethargy or weakness
β’ Vomiting
β’ Collapse
If you see a dog in distress inside a hot car, call 999 immediately. Please do not attempt to gain entry yourself.
