New life at ADC – Bangai Cardinal babies! 🐠

These little fish are only a few weeks old and are already thriving in our macroalgae system, where they’re being fed copepods regularly.

It’s always great to see fish breeding and growing successfully in an environment where they’re clearly doing well, and we look forward to watching these little ones develop over the coming weeks.

If you’re interested in adding Bangai Cardinals to your setup, we also have plenty of older juveniles available for sale in store at the moment!

For those who love clown loaches but don’t have the space for them as they grow, these little guys make a fantastic alternative — dwarf chain loaches!

Active, curious and full of personality, dwarf chain loaches are highly sociable fish that thrive when kept in groups. Reaching only a couple of inches in length, they’re well suited to aquariums from around 70 litres upwards.

They’re also excellent snail hunters, making them a great choice if you’re looking for a natural way to keep populations of small pest snails under control.

Here’s something a lot of you have been asking for — pea puffers are finally back in stock!

These fascinating nano fish are a great choice if you’re looking to add something a little different to your aquarium. They’re incredibly playful and full of personality, but can also be territorial, so they’re not suited to very small aquariums.

Their diet should consist mainly of meaty foods such as frozen or live bloodworm and brine shrimp. They’re also excellent snail hunters, making them a great option if you’re looking to keep a snail population under control.

If you’ve been thinking about adding pea puffers to your aquarium, now’s the perfect time to come and see them!

If you’re looking for an oddball fish that stays relatively small, these Platinum Halfbeaks are a great option.

These stunning fish spend most of their time near the surface, adding movement to an area that can often be overlooked in home aquariums. They’re also excellent jumpers, so a tight-fitting lid is essential.

One interesting thing about Platinum Halfbeaks is that they’re livebearers, meaning they give birth to fully developed young rather than laying eggs — similar to guppies, platies and mollies.

A great choice if you’re looking for a small, peaceful fish that offers something a little different.
