Firework season is nearly here, and while we might enjoy the sparkle, our pets may feel very differently. 🐾💙

From loud bangs to bright flashes, fireworks can be frightening for dogs, cats and other pets.

Tom, one of our vets at CVS Vets, shares some simple tips to help keep your pets safe, calm and comfortable this firework season.

Please be aware that we will have NO VET ON SITE on today (15/10) due to staff sickness. The phone line will be open as normal to arrange routine appointments. We are in the currently in the process of trying to find urgent cover.

🚧 Important Parking Update 🚧

Please be aware that we have very limited parking available today and throughout this week due to works being carried out at the front of the building.

⚠️ Please do not park down the side of the building, as this is permit holders only and vehicles parked there may be subject to enforcement.

We recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey and parking arrangements.

🎉 Congratulations to our newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, Shannon! 🐾💙
Shannon joined us back in 2021 as a Veterinary Care Assistant, and since then she has grown into an incredible member of our team. Her willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges, alongside her genuine love and compassion for animals, makes her such an amazing person to have around.

At YourVets, we’re incredibly proud to be a training centre, giving people like Shannon the opportunity to learn, grow and become something truly incredible while working alongside our experienced and supportive team. 🩺🐶🐱

While Shannon’s journey with CVS Vets may one day take her in a new direction, we know that wherever she goes, the animals in her care will be in the very best hands. She can leave with her head held high, knowing the incredible difference she has already made to so many animals and their families.
