Training isn’t about proving a breed can or can’t do something, or one is better than the other. It’s about working with the dog in front of you and adapting your training to suit, and learning from each other rather than criticising and judging.

What are the benefits of social walks?

Great for building confidence for anxious or reactive dogs, an opportunity to build and proof obedience around distractions, including recall & a chance to meet other likeminded owners focussed on their dogs training journey.

The first few times I met and walked into her house, got into her personal space, put gear on her, moved too fast, genuine bite attempts were made (not what you see in this video, this is around a month later) I couldn’t go in without bite gloves for my own safety. Fast forward 3 months and here we are ❤️ something so special about a fearful dog accepting you into their circle.
