It is with a heavy heart that we say to Whisky and Alfie. Though they did not live together, or come from the same breeder, you can call them . You wouldn't blame Alfie's Dad if he said he had serious when he met Whisky as a tiny puppy. Shortly after Whisky, Alfie became another . The boys became the firmest of friends and so did the owners . Often taking breaks together or borrowing each others dog . Extremely lucky that these boys got on as a lot of border terriers don't like other border terriers . Yet somehow their own reflection used to cause a stir in both the boys. We will remember the boys for their squirrel patrols, often leading to phone calls from well meaning dog walkers who thought they were lost . Not lost , just coming back the third time you call them rather than the first. Terriers , hey? But boys , if you could give us a sign , we love a hot drink after a cold walk, give our hands that extra tingle when we warm up . We will think of you .
