DON’T HAVE MONEY TO DONATE? TRY THIS INSTEAD!
Did you know you can use your Microsoft Rewards points to make a donation to The New Moon Rescue – TNR?
💙 It doesn't cost you anything extra.
The points are earned through things like searching with Bing, completing quizzes and other Microsoft Rewards activities — and you can choose to put those points towards helping cats in need. 🐱
HOW TO DONATE YOUR POINTS
1️⃣ Go to Microsoft Rewards
Open your internet browser and search “Microsoft Rewards”, then sign in with your Microsoft account.
2️⃣ Go to the Rewards page
Once you're signed in, look for “Redeem”.
3️⃣ Choose “Donate”
Find the “Donate” section. Microsoft will show you the charities currently available to you.
4️⃣ Find us! 🐈
Search for:
The New Moon Rescue – TNR
Then select our charity.
5️⃣ Choose your donation
Select the amount of points you want to give and follow the instructions on screen to confirm.
And that's it!
BUT HOW MUCH ARE THE POINTS WORTH?
This is important: Microsoft Rewards points don't have a fixed cash value, and the points required for donations can change depending on your country, the charity and Microsoft's current Rewards options. Microsoft also says redemption options can change over time.
So please treat the examples below as rough illustrations only, NOT a guaranteed conversion rate:
🐾 100 points → roughly 10p
🐾 1,000 points → roughly £1
🐾 10,000 points → roughly £10
Please check the amount shown by Microsoft when you actually redeem your points — that is the amount that applies to your donation.
Even if you don't have spare money for a donation, you may have Rewards points you've already earned sitting in your account.
✨ A few points from you + a few points from someone else + a few points from someone else = a whole lot of help for cats. ✨
Your points can help us provide food, veterinary treatment, neutering, microchipping and care for cats who need us.
So if you can't donate money right now, don't worry — you might still be able to donate your points. 💙🌙
Thank you for helping us help them! 😻
