Jack Frost Pet and Country store is a family run business in Keston, just of the main Westerham road, at the junction of Downe Road & Shire Lane. We have been supplying the wholesale and retail pet trade since 1990. It all started, long before that, with a young Allan Frost persuading his Grandad to build a hutch to house his rabbits....

Take a trip down Shire Lane and you will see the range carried is simply enormous with over 25,000 lines available with every possible need for your animals taken care of, from hamsters to horses. From humble beginnings in a small workshop way back in 1987, to supplying the wholesale and retail pet trade from 1990 until present day. Following a workshop/warehouse fire in 2003 the business has morphed into what it is today, with more focus on our own retail store. We're still going strong (and still growing) 23 years later! As a family run business (Allan, James, Sam and Katie) that incorporates a Feed Shop and Country store, Jack Frost has developed a product range to deliver quality and total affordability - We Aim to provide the best service with the best possible price. Look out for the cow shire lane that's where were hiding, were open 7 days a week with a large car park and carry to car as standard.

🐾✨ Our Puppy of the Weekend is the gorgeous BRACKEN! ✨🐾

Just look at those puppy eyes! 🥹❤️

Bracken was so shopped out that he had a little snooze during his coat fitting! All that shopping, pampering and being adorable is exhausting work! 💤🐶

Did you know? Show Cocker Spaniels are known for their beautiful silky, feathered coats, long floppy ears and affectionate, merry personalities. Originally bred as gundogs, they have a fantastic sense of smell and love exploring the world around them. Their gorgeous coats need regular grooming to keep them looking their best! ✂️🐾

We think Bracken deserves five stars for cuteness! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Meet Sweet Pea 🫛🦃

Today’s feathered customer popped in for their Heygates Turkey Feed, and we made a very special new friend! 💚

We haven’t met many turkeys here at the shop, but Sweet Pea was an absolute star — strolling around like a dog and making themselves right at home! 🥹🐾

We cater for chickens, turkeys, ducks and quail! 🐔🦆 Whether you’re looking for the perfect nutrition for your feathered pets or stocking up for your smallholding, we’ve got you covered.

🦃 Did you know? Fun turkey facts!

🗣️ Turkeys have different calls, including the famous gobble!
👀 They have excellent eyesight and can see a much wider field of view than humans.
💚 Turkeys are social birds and can form strong bonds with other turkeys — and sometimes their human friends, too!
🐾 Some pet turkeys enjoy following their favourite people around, just like Sweet Pea!

Gold KONGs, now lovely new LickiMat colours… whatever next?! 😂🐾💛

We’re just a little bit excited about our latest arrivals! 😆🛍️

🐶 Why are LickiMats so good for dogs? They encourage licking, which can help dogs relax, provide mental stimulation, slow down treat time and make snack time more enriching! Pop on some dog-friendly goodies (paste or wet food work great, then add some tasty toppers!) and let the licking begin. 😋🐾

🐾 They say the magic number is THREE when it comes to KONG! ❤️

🦴 One for the dog
❄️ One in the freezer
🫧 One in the dishwasher!

But what are the rules for the GOLD KONG? 🤔✨ Surely it's an essential limited edition and everyone needs one! 😂💛

🎉 Did you know KONG has been around since 1976? The original toy was inspired by Fritz, a dog who loved chewing on a rubber suspension part from a Volkswagen van! 🚐🐶

And that iconic shape? It's designed to bounce unpredictably, making playtime even more fun! 🎾

❤️ A few more KONG facts: 🐶 Red KONGs are designed for average chewers. 🖤 Black KONG Extremes are made for power chewers. 🩷 Puppies have their own softer rubber formula. 🧠 Stuffing and freezing a KONG can turn treat time into a longer-lasting enrichment activity.

Fill it, stuff it, freeze it… the possibilities are endless! 🥜🍌🦴

💬 Let's talk KONGs! What's your dog's favourite filling? Are you a simple kibble stuffer, a creative chef or a freeze-it-for-hours expert? And who else thinks the GOLD KONG deserves a place in every dog's collection? 👑🐾
