Logan, the day has come to say goodbye. You are so incredibly loved, and after so many years of happy and fun-filled memories, I find it hard to express just how much you meant to me. The hardest part of this job is losing a dog after building such incredibly strong bonds over many years. We were lucky enough to spend the best part of a decade together, which makes it so much harder than most.
You were a veteran, and icon of Tails Together, and since day one you seemed to take the alpha role. The gentle giant that all the other pups looked up to, and respected instantly. Gentle enough that even the smallest of the pack were happy to play with you, but firm enough to bring anyone back into line when they were playing up. You were a great friend and cuddle buddy to our little Joan, and a the perfect teacher and father figure to Kiki, which made her the amazing dog she is today.
I’ll never forget the goofy smiles, and leg stomping while getting your butt scratched. The smothering cuddles and the shoe stealing to sleep with at night. The outrage whenever you weren’t included in a cuddle, and the refusal to sit down anywhere other than right at my side. The memories of our adventures will last forever. You have touched so many lives, in so many ways. I’ll always miss you, buddy!
