Introducing Woody - a sweet old soul looking for a place to call home as he retires.

Putting the hype in hypertension and the art in arthritis, Woody is a gentle little man with a big heart.

Since being fostered 5 months ago, he has slowly accepted human love again and has never lashed out despite initially being very shy. He is now dangerously addicted to getting his head scratched and despite spending most of his days curled up in his little bed with his toy fish, he loves to come out and get his fix multiple times a day.

Hard of hearing, questionable eyesight and with stylish bow legs, Woody is definitely suited to a slower paced lifestyle. You won’t need to worry about him getting to anything dangerous or precious as long it’s higher than a coffee table and he’s too small and slow to knock anything over.

Woody will need a calm and quiet home, free from children and other animals so he can enjoy his retirement in a loving home.

He dutifully takes a tablet every day for his high blood pressure (too many kebabs and pints in his younger days we think) and an injection every month for his arthritis but other than that he’s about as low maintenance as a cat can be. In return for helping him with this, you'll get the love of a little old man cat who looks and feels like a well loved childhood toy.

Meet Melody - the chatty cat who will sing her way into your heart!

Melody is a truly gentle cat who loves to be near her people. She is the kind of companion who always wants to stay close to you - whether that's joining you on the sofa to watch TV or squeezing herself onto the chair behind you while you're working.

She is incredibly affectionate and never seems to get tired of chin scratches. When you pet her, she'll show her appreciation with loud purrs and air biscuits. She is also very easy to handle; she doesn't hiss or scratch and is remarkably tolerant of being pick up or having her nails trimmed.

She is also a communicative girl who likes to share her thoughts. She'll use her chirps and meows to let you know exactly what she's looking for, whether it's food, a toy, or just a bit of your attention. If you're looking for a sweet and loyal friend, Melody would love to meet you.

Meet the dynamic duo: Pumpkin & Spice!

These two best friends are looking for a forever home together.

Pumpkin is a playful, curious boy who chirps and chortles around the house. He loves climbing to the highest spot, wrestling, and charming you for food with head bumps and leg rubs.

Spice is a gentle soul who has blossomed in foster care. While she is still very shy and needs a patient, understanding home to continue building her confidence, she has a sweet side that loves window-watching and cozy naps on the sofa next to her foster.

They are deeply bonded, constantly grooming and cuddling each other. This pair is looking for a calm home that can provide the loving space they need.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR HUBERT

Meet Hubert - ex-neighbourhood cat, local legend, professional Dreamie detector!

He was cared for by kind people on the street, but now his blood pressure is over 200 and outdoor life is no longer an option. The vet believes he is blind due to his high blood pressure, but he's been noticed to "see" a Dreamie with his nose.

Hubert is now safe, but he needs a calm foster home where his blood pressure can come down and he can recover properly.

He will need a quiet, low-stress home with no outdoor access. Due to Hubert being blind, the layout of the home will need to be consistent so he can navigate confidently. His food and litter will need to be located in easy, fixed places, and he will need a fosterer who is gentle, patient and caring while he settles in.

All vet visits are organised, handled and covered by our volunteers at L.I.C.K. We will provide you with ongoing medical support and guidance throughout fostering.

Tinker, Inka and Sammy - 2 female & 1 male / 4 months old

Meet Tinker, Inka, and Sammy - the next best trio to steal your hearts!

These three are very closely bonded - from sleeping, to eating, to grooming each other. They make an amazing trio and are always playing or teaching each other something new. They love to play fight but are always very gentle, making sure they don't hurt one another.

They keep themselves entertained and happy throughout the day, and with each other by their sides, they are never bored or lonely. They are hungry for cuddles and affection, so they would benefit from a family with someone who is often home.

Tinker is the sweetest, gentlest and cuddliest little cat you'll ever meet! Her favourite thing to do is curl up on your lap and have a long snooze. She's energetic, curious and food mad. She loves to play but is always very gentle. Tinker's favourite activities include a nap by a radiator - and don't forget a chin scratch!

Mr Sam is a fun, playful boy with lots of energy. He loves to have a cuddle and snooze on your lap while you rub his belly. As soon as you get home, be sure to expect Sammy to clamber onto your lap and start making biscuits in no time! Sammy also loves perching by a window and watching the world go by, and can be left alone while you're out. Like any brother, he loves to tease his sisters by jumping in and out of boxes with them!

Inka is the most independent of the three, taking charge before her brother and sister. She loves exploring and is always the first to investigate something new. She does things on her own terms but still loves her daily cuddles like her siblings. Inka loves to play with Sammy and Tinker, and will curl up with her siblings in a big kitten pile!

Our L.I.C.K. Kitty Drivers help transport rescue cats safely:
• From foster homes
• To vet appointments in E13
• To their forever homes

You’ll be a vital part of helping cats get healthy and ready for adoption.

We’re looking for people who:
✔ Love cats
✔ Have a car and can drive it 🙈
✔ Can commit around 6–8 hours per week
✔ Are flexible and comfortable handling cats in carriers

Meet Bubba and Gizmo!

Gizmo is the black and white social butterfly! If you're looking for a cat who can hold a conversation...he's your boy! He loves chatting to his humans and will politely (or not-so-politely!) remind you when it’s time for dinner, treats, or a snuggle. He has a purr so loud you can hear him from across the room! He’s obsessed with his feather wand and loves to carry it around the house like a prize. Gizmo does has some food sensitivities. Although it's nothing serious, but his new family will just need to keep an eye on his diet!

Bubba is the tabby brother - a sensitive soul, bit the yin to Gizmo's yang! He might be a bit shy at first, but once you’re in his inner circle, you’ve got a friend for life. Once he gets to know you, he’ll be the very first to say hello when you walk through the door. While not a lap cat, he loves being involved. Expect him to sit in the bathroom sink or join you at your desk/table/counter for a fuss. He loves treats and is a pro at solving food puzzles.

Both boys are gentle and patient, making them a great fit for a family. They like being near people, but they’re also happy to snooze the day away while you're at work. These two prefer a dog-free home. They both love dry food and treats a bit *too* much, so they’ll need a human who can help them manage their portions!

Dewey and Goose are the cheeky duo who are always up to something

Dewey is the ultimate purr machine. The second you start patting her, the purring switches on and doesn’t stop. She’s always the first to come over for a cuddle and will happily spend hours soaking up the attention. Super playful and endlessly curious, Dewey loves to climb and explore — and she has absolutely no fear of heights! If there’s somewhere to climb, she’ll find it. With her cheeky, funny personality and affectionate nature, she’s always a joy to be around.

Goose is the chatty little adventurer of the pair. She always has something to say and will often call out before trotting over to see what you’re up to. She loves chasing toys and getting involved in everything happening around her. Once playtime is over though, she’s more than happy to curl up on a lap and drift off to sleep. Curious, cuddly and full of personality, Goose keeps everyone entertained.

Together they make the sweetest little team. Dewey brings the playful mischief, Goose brings the chatter and curiosity — and between adventures and games, they love nothing more than curling up together for a well-earned nap.

Meet the girl duo Bruce and Tilly

Bruce is the ultimate cuddle bug - always the first to climb into your lap, sneak under the blanket, or curl up in your arms. She purrs so loudly and melts in your hands, you’ll swear she was made for snuggles. A true little softy, she just wants to be with you, all day, every day.

Tilly is cuddly too, but in her own calm, gentle way. She loves quiet strokes and fusses, settling beside you with a deep, soothing purr. She’s affectionate without being demanding this girl happiest curling up next to you or under a blanket.

These two sweethearts are inseparable, always snoozing together, and would love a forever home as a pair.

Ekaterina - female / 3 years old EDIT: ADOPTED

Meet Ekaterina, an adorable grey tabby with little white socks! She came to us a little nervous, having just been spayed after having three kittens. Despite the nerves, she was very trusting with us humans off the bat, and would immediately calm down whenever someone came near.

She has now become extremely confident since her recovery, with a strong personality to boot. Her two favourite things in the world are food and chin scratches (in that order). If you haven't heard from her in a while, be sure to check that she isn't fishing for scraps somewhere! While her food anxiety has improved since getting an automatic feeder, we still advise against leaving any glasses of milk unattended – which is still her favourite, no matter how many times her fosterer tells her it's not good for her!

She is most energetic around her meal times, but once her tummy is full, she's very happy to lounge with you on the sofa or occupy herself elsewhere. She is also very chatty, and loves to comment on the comings and goings in the house. If you haven't spoken to her in a while, she will eventually waddle over to demand some chin scratches and a neck rub.

Ekaterina would suit anyone looking for a cat with loads of personality, though we are not yet sure how she would fare with other pets.
