I spent 2 weeks looking after this gorgeous 8 month old male Collie. It was over the heatwave, so we stayed at home, played with his toys and I hid treats in the garden, which he loved! We spent a lot of time sitting in the garden and sleeping! We had early morning walks and lots of cooling off with frozen carrots and wet tea towels. How did your pets cope? Hope it doesn't get that hot again!

I'm back in Hertfordshire with my friend, the little staffie. I'm enjoying walks along the canal, it's nice to get out of London sometimes and see the red kites and rabbits on the lawn. This little staffie let's me know when it's time to come home, she likes long naps and playing with her toys.

He's a senior now, his walks are slow and sniffy but always with a gentle tail wag and a ready smile. He's a dear old soul, you can't help but love him ❤️ 🐾💕
