Our Jumbo Tosai are growing out well here at our Banstead quarantine facility, at only 15 months old many are already reaching over 35cm after just a few months, some beautiful varieties with great development and a lot of promise!

If you are thinking of building yourself a wildlife pond or perhaps one of those beautiful patio ponds, we definitely recommend adding in some plants like these oxygenators, as with all aquatic plants they help cycle out harmful waste and also give your fish or local wildlife a little extra oxygen in the water column.

They also encourage beneficial insects for your fish or visitors to snack on, and provide hiding spaces, helping to reduce stress and add some protection from predators.

The summer weather is still very much here so you still have time feed your koi that extra protein! Bulk up your koi with either of our 3 recommended koi foods, we have a recommendation for every budget so everyone can get beefed up jumbo koi.

Make sure to feed these growth foods little and often, splitting feeds into 7-8 small feeds a day to make the most out of your money. Because koi don't have stomachs they cannot store food so feeding one big go makes these growth foods turn to p**p literally...
