Owning a cat for a while now made me come across some situations where I needed some professional advice or had to look up things on the internet in order to serve my furry friends better and understand them better. This page was created to have some fun while watching funny cat videos and learning anything about our feline friends!

Ever wondered why your cat “makes biscuits” on your lap? 🍞🐾 That gentle kneading is a normal comfort behaviour rooted in kittenhood—and many cats do it most when they feel safe, cosy, and close to you. If the claws are a bit enthusiastic, pop a thick blanket on your legs and let them knead away (no scolding—comfort habits are all about trust). Bonus tip: pair it with a slow blink back at them 😻—it’s one of the kindest ways to say, “I’m your safe place.”

True. 🤣

Ever notice your cat pulling kibble out of the bowl, eating off the floor, or walking away from a full dish? 🍽️🐾 For some cats, deep or narrow bowls can irritate their super-sensitive whiskers (often called “whisker fatigue”), so try switching to a wide, shallow plate or low-sided dish. 😺✨ If your cat suddenly becomes picky, drops food, or seems uncomfortable eating, it’s always worth a quick chat with your vet—every kitty is different. 💛

If your cat gives you that dreamy “slow blink,” it’s one of their clearest signals of trust and comfort—basically a feline hug with their eyes 😺💛 Try slowly blinking back and turning your face slightly to the side; many cats find this extra reassuring. And a quick whisker PSA: whiskers are super-sensitive “feelers,” so please never trim them, and consider using wide, shallow bowls to reduce whisker stress at mealtimes 🥣✨

If your cat keeps scooping food out of the bowl and eating it off the floor, they might not be “messy” at all—those super-sensitive whiskers can get overstimulated by deep or narrow dishes (often called whisker fatigue) 😼🍽️. Try switching to a wide, shallow bowl or even a flat plate and see if mealtimes get calmer. Every cat’s different, so think of it as a simple comfort experiment—not a diagnosis 🧡. Tell me: does your kitty eat neatly… or redecorate the kitchen first? 😹
