Josh has been busy caring for a wide variety of exotic animals here at Taverham Vets the last few weeks! 🐍🐓🐹🐢🦜

From ferrets with endocrine disease to tortoises needing beak trims, rabbits with dental disease, to snakes popping in for a check-ups —we really have loved seeing your unique pets!

Josh is available to see exotic pets for general health checks, advice on common conditions, species-specific husbandry advice, nail and beak trims, microchipping, export health certificates and DWA/primate inspections.

Many of our pets find firework season a difficult time, if your pet suffers from anxiety during firework season, you may be considering a calming support such as pheramone diffusers, calming supplements or prescribed medication from your vet.

If you're worried about how your pet will cope, do reach out to us here at Taverham Vets. Give us a call or pop into the practice to speak with our team about how we can help. 🐾✨

Hello Miso 👋 inviting us in for a *BOOP* from her cosy kennel 😻

This gorgeous girl was recently spayed here at Taverham Vets and we all fell in love with her!

Neutering our cats is a key part of responsible pet ownership. Beyond helping to combat overpopulation, it also protects against serious diseases like uterine infections and certain cancers, and stops risky behaviours like wandering or fighting.🐾💖

🔴 CAT FOUND 🔴

This lovely cat was found in Bowthorpe. They are microchipped but the chip is unregistered (and is suspected to be a chip from abroad). They are unfortunately unwell and receiving emergency veterinary treatment. If you think they could be your missing cat please contact us on 01603 867330. As always proof of ownership will be required.

Many thanks, the Taverham Vets team ❤️

Who can resist a 12-week-old Labrador!?

Not us!! As proven by how many of the team came to say hello during his visit 😂

Pickle belongs to student nurse Morgan and we have all been very excited to meet him.

During his visit, vet Daniel gave him a full health check, his second vaccination course, and his parasite treatment. Plus, Pickle officially became the newest member of the Pet Health Club!

We look forward to seeing Pickle again soon for his next appointment and another round of puppy cuddles 🐾
