RSPCA South London Branch

Did you know that writing a Will generally costs over £100? 💰

We have partnered with Farewill, trusted as the largest Will writer in the UK, to offer you the opportunity to write your Will FOR FREE. You can start writing your Will online here: www.farewill.com/rspcasouthlondon, or over the telephone now, on 020 8050 2686, from the comfort of your own home. 🏡

You are under no obligation to leave any money to us, but we hope that you will consider it. 🙏🏼

Gifts in wills, or legacies, are so important to us because they allow us to plan for a better future for local animals. Over the last 10 years, gifts in Wills alone accounted for over 30% of our total donations. Without these legacies, our vital animal welfare work would not be able to happen. ❤️‍🩹

A gift to us in your Will is not only generous and kind, but it’s essential to the sustainability of our branch, and the future of local animals. 🐈🐶🦮🐰🐹🐁🦔🦊🐴

By remembering the RSPCA South London Branch, you can provide life-saving care to neglected and abandoned animals, helping us protect them for years to come. 🥀

Thank you 😻

RSPCA South London Branch is looking for volunteers to join our new Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) project!

We need reliable, cat confident volunteers who can help us safely trap unowned and feral cats, transport them to veterinary appointments and return them to their territory following neutering.

📍 Our project will initially focus on Thornton Heath, and you’ll need access to a car and some availability during the working week.

No previous TNR experience is needed, as full training will be provided! You’ll gain valuable experience in cat rescue while helping prevent unwanted litters and improve the welfare of cats living without an owner.

We’re looking for several volunteers, ideally able to offer one or two weekdays. You don’t need to be available every day, and agreed travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Interested in getting involved? Find out more using the link below, or email [email protected] to register your interest!

Say hello to one of our two new kittens 😍 Last week they moved into foster care where they can begin to settle in and learn that people aren’t so scary!

Our five month old black and white girl is already showing off her playful side, enjoying her food and even finding time for a purr or two. She’s still getting used to being touched, but she’s making lovely progress!

Her ginger and white brother is a little more nervous, but he’s already taken a brave step out of his crate for some wet food. We hope to share more of his progress with you soon! 💛

🚗 World Animal Road Accident Awareness Day | 10th October

Every day, cats and other animals are injured or killed on our roads. Today, we're joining CatsMatter to raise awareness and remind everyone that small actions can help save lives!

🐾 Please remember:
• Slow down and stay alert, especially at dawn, dusk and at night.
• If you hit a cat or other animal, stop safely and seek help. Never leave an injured animal in the road.
• Keep cats indoors overnight where possible to help reduce their risk of road accidents.

Every animal deserves a chance to get home safely. Please drive with compassion and help us spread the word.

Remember Woody and Bo Peep? Well, these two little kittens have found their forever home and have some rather fancy new names!

Gin Fizz with a Twist (Fizz) and Grey Goose on the Rocks (Goose) are settling in beautifully with their new family.

Their happy adopter tells us they absolutely love being together and are already showing off their individual personalities! Fizz is a cuddle bug who is still figuring out how to meow, while Goose is a little maniac! 😂 Apparently they're also obsessed with sharing a food bowl even though they have their own 🤦‍♀️

They're confident, happy, and clearly making themselves right at home. We couldn't be more delighted to hear how well they're getting on!

🐾 Thinking of adopting? Keep an eye on RSPCA South London Branch for more of our animals looking for their forever homes 👀
