We offer a range of services from dog walking, dog sitting and our favourite - dog days out! We pride ourselves in treating your dog like one of our own and ensure that whatever service we provide we are responsible and enjoy what we do. All of the training methods we use are force-free and reward the dog for the behaviours we want to see. We keep up to date with the latest scientific studies and

research. We can help with behavioural issues such as toilet training, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fear aggression and many more - whatever your situation, we will help find the solution. We also offer bespoke dog walking, customised to suit each individual dogs needs. We ensure that within the walk they are mentally stimulated and go home tired and content!

This year after almost 11 years of Amey’s Dog Services, we are making a change and rebranding.

Most things are staying the same, the walks remain unchanged with the same amount of love going into each walk, ensuring the dogs have both their physical and mental needs met.

We just have a shiny new website and a new logo which better represents the now and conjoins us with the new hotel and daycare in Portugal we are currently also growing. Although I am sad to say goodbye to the logo my brother lovingly created and Troy's little cartoon face ❤️

Instagram will change by the end of the week and we have some plans this year to actually prioritise showing people the fun the dogs have on the walks here and getting a little more consistent.

Rusty, the real OG. The first regular client, the first greyhound, the first dog I worked with from day two of his adoption and the first of so many things - the teacher of so much. Before vans and booking systems, as I was finding my feet and learning, its hard to put into words. Saying goodbye to him is hard (as they all are) but you were ready and now you can run like you used to and win all the races, followed by a 23 hour nap 🧡

Rusty was a funny dog, he didn't like cheese but he never said no to some chicken, always happy to attend a barbecue. He would lean against me when trucks went past in his early adoption days. He would spin so much in excitement when I would collect him, it made me dizzy 🤣

This job is like no other. Friendships are made, connections are built and the attachments we make last longer than the dog walks do. We have to say goodbye to more friends than most, utterly bittersweet.

Rusty has been a huge part of Amey's Dog Services and my last 10 years and been so utterly loved by his family. My heart is hurting, but as always, so very grateful to have known and loved you. ❤️

This time 10 years ago I had just got Ezra and was wondering how to manage with two dogs and a full time job that I wasn't overly invested in.

I was looking at Ezra and although she seemed to be easy enough I was told she was going to be a handful. She was a dog that was going to need a lot of stimulation and exercise. A dog that was not going to settle for less.

After many pub visits contemplating what to do and with everyone around me fed up of me talking about dog behaviour and training and giving them lectures I began thinking about dipping my feet into the world in a more professional sense.

It all started with her 🧡
