👀 Peek-a-boo! Meet handsome Osca! 💙🐾

Osca the Siamese came in to see us for a dental procedure, and while he was recovering he couldn't resist showing off those stunning blue eyes! Just look at that adorable peek-a-boo pose. 😍

Dental health is such an important part of your cat's overall wellbeing. Cats are masters at hiding discomfort, so dental disease can often go unnoticed until it becomes quite advanced. Regular dental checks can help identify problems early and keep your feline friend comfortable, happy and healthy.

Signs your cat may need a dental check include:
🐱 Bad breath
🐱 Difficulty eating or dropping food
🐱 Excessive drooling
🐱 Red or inflamed gums
🐱 Pawing at the mouth
🐱 Changes in behaviour or appetite

We're delighted to report that Osca did brilliantly and was soon back to being his charming self. 💕

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Osca, and thank you for letting us share your gorgeous face with everyone! 🩺✨

Some cats investigate absolutely everything… including your dinner 😅🐾

Keeping up to date with parasite protection helps protect curious cats from unwanted passengers while they explore, snack and cause general chaos around the house 💚

With Vital Pet Club, you can spread the cost of parasite care and vaccinations into easy monthly payments, making preventative healthcare simple all year round ✨

Because life is always more interesting with a cat.

😸 Hello, it's Timmy here.

I came in for my appointment last week and, after carefully supervising the team and inspecting the consulting room, I decided there was only one sensible thing to do...

Take a nap. 😴

Apparently, the glove box made an excellent pillow. Who knew?

The team carried on with their work while I focused on the important task of conserving energy. Being this handsome is exhausting, after all. 🐾

I think it's safe to say I passed my appointment with flying colours... and maybe a little snoring. 💙

Love,
Timmy 🐱

🐾💕 Sweet Poppy came in to see us last week for her spay procedure.

Her surgery had previously been postponed after her pre-anaesthetic blood tests showed some elevated levels, allowing us time to investigate and make sure it was safe for her to undergo anaesthesia. We're delighted to say that, after some follow-up checks, Poppy got the all-clear and was ready to go! 💚

Here she is looking wonderfully calm and sleepy before her procedure, enjoying plenty of TLC from the team. 😻

Neutering provides a range of health and welfare benefits for cats. Alongside preventing unwanted pregnancies, it can reduce the risk of certain diseases and help minimise behaviours such as roaming and fighting, which can lower the chance of injuries and infections. 🐱💚

Poppy was a fantastic patient and did brilliantly. We wish her a smooth recovery filled with naps, cuddles and plenty of well-deserved fuss at home! 🩷🐾

🐱 Hug Your Cat Day… as approved (and closely supervised) by your cat

Hello. Yes. It’s me. Your cat.

I’ve been informed that today is “Hug Your Cat Day.”
This feels… optimistic.

Let’s set a few expectations:

🐾 Hugs may be permitted… briefly
🐾 On my terms only
🐾 And absolutely not when I’m busy (which is always)

If you attempt an unsolicited cuddle, please be aware this may result in:

👀 a slow blink of judgement
🐾 a gentle-but-firm escape manoeuvre
😼 or… consequences

That said… if I do choose to sit on you later, purr, and allow a small hug…
just know this is a rare and special honour.

You’re welcome.

Happy Hug Your Cat Day. Proceed carefully 💙

😼 Hello, it's Horace here!

I came in to see the team last week for my thyroid monitoring blood test to make sure my thyroid medication is working properly and keeping me feeling my best. 💚

If my thyroid gets too carried away, I can lose weight, put extra strain on my heart and blood pressure, and generally feel less like my handsome self. That's why I have regular blood tests so the team can keep everything nicely balanced!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some important napping to catch up on. 🐾😴

Love,
Horace 🧡

🐾💛 This review genuinely meant the world to our team and was such an uplifting message for us all to read.

When a pet suddenly becomes seriously unwell, we know just how frightening and overwhelming that experience can be for owners. Supporting families through those emotional moments with kindness, reassurance and clear communication is something every single member of our team cares deeply about.

Thank you so much to Emily for trusting us with little Rupert during such a difficult week and for taking the time to leave such thoughtful and heartfelt feedback. Knowing that our vets, nurses and reception team helped her feel supported, informed and comforted throughout Rupert’s hospital stay means more than we can say.

We were especially touched by Emily mentioning the regular updates, phone calls and photos through PetsApp. We know how important those little moments of reassurance can be when your pet is away from home.

Most importantly, we are absolutely delighted that Rupert is back on his little feet again 🐱✨

Thank you again, Emily. Your kindness and appreciation truly lifted our whole team 🐾
