It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our wonderful groom, Michal.

Michal was a much loved part of Lee Valley Riding Centre for over 20 years. His affinity with horses was truly unmatched, and his quiet, gentle nature meant he had a special connection with every horse he cared for.

Within the office, we affectionately called him the “dog whisperer”. We’re sure our dogs preferred him over us.

Michal was so much more than an employee. He was a neighbour, a friend and a much loved part of the Lee Valley family. His presence, kindness and dedication will leave a huge hole in all our lives.

It will take us a long time to recover from this loss, and he will be greatly missed by every one of us.

Rest in peace, Michal. You will never be forgotten.

It is with the deepest sadness that I have to announce the passing of our wonderful groom, Michal.

Michal had been a much-loved part of Lee Valley Riding Centre for over 20 years. His affinity with horses was truly unmatched, and his quiet, gentle nature meant that he had a special connection with every horse he cared for.

With the extreme weather warnings in place for the next few days, we have decided to postpone lessons from lunchtime onwards. Any customer that is affected has been emailed.
Our horses welfare will always come first and we will be working hard behind the scenes to keep them cool.
