Thinking of relocating with your rabbits?

Moving rabbits internationally can be a little more complicated than you might think.

Different countries, and even different states, have their own rules and requirements for importing rabbits. That’s why using an IATA-approved specialist pet travel agent like Airpets can make all the difference.

From caring for your rabbit in our dedicated facilities before they fly, to helping you navigate the paperwork and entry requirements, we can support you throughout their journey.

And if your rabbit is arriving into the UK, there are additional requirements to consider. Rabbits entering the UK from overseas must complete quarantine period, and we have dedicated quarantine facilities to care for them during this time.

Because relocating your pets is a big journey, and when it comes to rabbits, the details really matter.

Kai & Lang 🐾✈️

We had the pleasure of flying Kai & Lang to their new homes, they absolutely loved playing in our paddocks! Although they did steal a slip lead to use as a toy but how can you say no to them 🐾

So how much time should you allow before relocating with your pet?

We always suggest that you start making plans as soon as you know you’re moving, for places like Australia or New Zealand you will need 6+ months to prepare.

Other countries like the US, UAE or South Africa can take several weeks to a few months of preparation before your pet can travel.

We have more information about lead times and destination specific requirements over on our website, linked in bio ✈️
