We all love playing with our pups and when it comes to playing fetch outside 🌳 many people will choose to throw sticks.
But did you know injuries from playing fetch with sticks are quite common? 🚑
Sticks can cause serious injuries to your dog's mouth, throat and even internal organs as they break or splinter into sharp pieces. They can also cause nasty puncture wounds if the dog runs into a stick pointing into the air 🤕
So please resist the temptation to throw sticks for your pup next time you're outside 💙
