💙 Breed: West Highland Terrier

Meet Hugo – aka Hugo Bear, Mr Bear, Babaganush… and London’s newest honorary Brit 🇬🇧🐻

Originally a New Yorker, Hugo packed up his little Westie paws and made the move to London in 2024. Since then, he’s embraced British life like a pro, swapping yellow cabs for London Dog Club vans, discovering the joys of pubs, and reconnecting with his Scottish Westie roots.

Hugo is always up for an adventure. Whether it’s exploring a new European city, sticking his nose out of the car window, hopping on a plane, or splashing about in a pool, he’s happiest when he’s out making memories. And when he’s at home? If his mum dares to spend too long on a work call without acknowledging him, he’ll happily pop up on camera to remind everyone who’s really in charge. His signature side eye is legendary. 😂

At daycare, Hugo is one of the sweetest boys you’ll meet. He absolutely adores people and has a real soft spot for his carers, especially James. He’s always happy to say hello, enjoys a tasty treat (or three), loves cooling off in the pool, and every now and then treats us to a classic Westie zoomie before returning to his important business of supervising the field.

Hugo is a proper mummy’s boy, although he does like to keep her on her toes by showering everyone else with attention too. He’ll make you earn his affection… but once you’re in, expect plenty of kisses in return.

Small in size, huge in personality, and completely convinced he’s doing us all a favour by turning up each day. That’s what we call Westitude. 💙
