🐾 Dog of the Week: Otis 🐾

Meet Otis, our 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer who may be small in size, but certainly didn’t get the memo about having a small personality 😂

London born and bred, Otis is growing up surrounded by his South African family and community, so he’s already learning the important things in life: sunshine, lounging in the garden, good company and, most importantly, good food ☀️

Otis is an incredibly confident and curious little chap who wants to meet absolutely everyone. Big dogs, small dogs, humans… Otis isn’t fussy! He loves exploring, making new friends and getting involved in whatever is going on around him. He’s also very food motivated, which comes in rather handy as he loves learning new tricks and is surprisingly quick at picking them up.

One of the sweetest things about Otis is that he shares his birthday, 10th February, with his owner 🥹 which felt like a little sign from the beginning that these two were meant to find each other and adventure through life together. 💛

At daycare, Otis is already proving to be such a clever boy. Kitti has taught him to wait patiently when his crate opens before putting his little front legs out to her, and he’s brilliant at waiting nicely for his food and water. He loves his routine and, underneath all that puppy madness, is a very well-behaved little gentleman.

That said… the teenage phase is definitely loading 🤣 Otis is getting more boisterous by the day and loves causing a bit of chaos with his besties Bryn, Betty, Poppy and Enzo. He also has the CUTEST little bark, and if you bark at him, he’ll happily bark straight back. Apparently conversations are a two-way street.

Clever, confident, slightly crazy and getting cheekier by the week… we can’t wait to watch our little Otis grow up at LDC! 🐾
