As of the 28th September, Mucky Pups will close permanently after 25+ years in Rotherhithe, due to Southwark Council's rent increase and complete refusal to complete any repairs.

It's that time of year again. Please regularly check in between your pup's toes, pads (under feet) ears, armpits and chest. Grass seeds are extremely painful and often require surgery. Avoid walking in areas with long, dry grass. Photo in comments.

A physically exhausting Saturday afternoon but equally satisfying and absolutely no complaints from me!!!
This fam of 4 (left to right) Monty, Biscuit, Chloe and Bailey are impeccably behaved, super adorable and very sweet doggos. Their owner arrives on time, collects on time and never 'no shows'.
Customers like these are priceless to a small business like mine. Just to let you know (and you know if you fall in this category) you are highly appreciated and I'm extremely grateful to you all. Thank you ❤️🐾❤️

Unfortunately I am receiving regular (daily) complaints regarding my refusal to include tooth brushing, a**l gland emptying, ear plucking and cleaning as part of the standard grooming package.
As a professional groomer, I observe the guidance and advice as set out by the regulatory organisations such as the British Veterinary Association and the Pet Industry Federation.
I have linked here, the clear advice from them NOT to perform these services unless specifically advised by your veterinarian.

As many of you know, for several years now I have been studying and taking numerous grooming practical and written exams (18 in total).
I feel very proud to finally announce that I have successfully achieved the title of International Certified Master Groomer!!!
I cannot thank enough, those extremely kind customers who trusted me with their beloved family members and without whose help, I would never have achieved this ultimate goal...
Thank you so much Biggles (Cocker Spaniel, posing with my trophy), Hamlet (Bichon Frisé), Misty (Kerry Blue Terrier), Bim (Malshi), Millie (Bichon Frisé who was literally my last minute saviour!!!) and last but not least, my own beloved Lyla (Briard), who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge in January 2020 but without whom I would never have passed my very first exam.
N.B. photos are of the cuties in their maintenance (not exam) trims.
Your furbaby may not be shown here but please understand, I do this job because I love dogs. They are my life, my love and my passion. Once you pass that lead to me, your dog is in my possession and I will treat him or her as if they were my own.

COVID UPDATE
I'm back up and running as normal! Thanks for all the get well wishes. I will be open for usual business hours throughout the lockdown, Tuesday to Saturday 9am til 5pm 🙂
