My name is Ineta Stanley and i am dog trainer and
All my life i was mesmerized about animals, but my passion belonged to dogs. How similar they are to humans and how amazing and rewarding is to work with them and their owners. I have tried to do many jobs including: behind the bar, waitress, lifeguard, leisure manager, swimming instructor for children and adults, receptionist and administrator. No job made me happy, or felt like i am happy and thats what i meant to do or gave me bigger pleasure then working with dogs. Now, i have greatest job in the world :)

Urgent please for your help and support.

M has fibromyalgia and wheelchairs bound that needs assistant dog.

Many that lives in Abbey wood, Abbey wood Sainsburys have seen and know M and Koda. A lady in a wheelchair with her chocolate Labrador who has been trained as an assistant dog to help his mum M to live independently. He has been doing this job for the last 7 years, but…..disaster has struck and Koda is badly injured and needs surgery. He has torn a ligament in his leg and now can’t put his leg down- he is in a lot of pain and M doing her best to help him.

Problem is- M can’t leave the house until Koda recovers we are looking at 7/8months- can you imagine being stuck in the house just like we were in Covid times?

We have already spend a lot of money to buy equipment to make Koda safe at home, but we need much more.

You may think it’s just a dog- but he really isn’t. M completely dependent on the dog to help her with 90% of her day.

We not asking for a lot, anything you can give to support M and Koda as he will need lots of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy which is very expensive.

Unfortunately the charity which Koda is registered as assistant dog do not support any dogs which made really upset. How is disabled person who lives on their own suppose to find this kind of money.

Poem from an untrained Puppy 🐶

My family brought me home with them
Smugly cradled in their arms
They cuddled me and smiled at me,
And said I was full of charm.

We would laugh and play all day,
They showered me with toys.
I soon learned to love my family,
Especially the girls and boys.

The children loved to feed me,
They’d give me special treats.
They even let me sleep with them,
All snuggled in the sheets.

They used to laugh and praise me
When I played with my old shoe,
But I was never taught the difference
Between the old ones and the new.

The kids and I would grab a rag,
And for hours we would tug.
So I thought I did the right thing,
When I chewed the bathroom rug.

They said I was out of control,
And would have to live outside.
This I did not understand,
Although I tried and tied.

The walks stopped one by one,
They said they didn’t have the time.
I wish that I could change things,
I wish I knew my crime.

My life became so lonely,
In the backyard on a chain.
I barked and barked all day long,
To keep from going insane.

So they brought me to a shelter,
But we’re embarrassed to say why.
They said I caused an allergy
And then said their last goodbye.

If only I’d had some training
When I was just a Pup,
I wouldn’t have been so confused
When I was all grown up.

Having ADHD studying is very very difficult and I really struggle, but, I try and that is why I have passed many courses.

But…. I have been studying with ADHD medication and OMG- like a different world.

This is very first time ever I got distinction. I literally nearly cried.

This unit was about does the dominance and pack structure exist in dog world?

naturally cooked jelly made from pig legs and chicken feet can be a very nutritious addition to a dog’s diet, especially when it is homemade and contains no salt, seasoning or additives. My jelly cooked with fresh no salts, no seasoning.

🐷🐔 Why it can be good for dogs

🦴 Rich in natural collagen
Pig legs and chicken feet contain lots of connective tissue and collagen. When slowly cooked, the collagen breaks down into gelatin, which may support:

* Joints and mobility
* Cartilage and connective tissue
* Skin and coat
* Healthy nails

💪 Supports joints
The gelatin and amino acids released during cooking can be useful as part of a diet supporting healthy joints, particularly for older, active or working dogs.

🧬 Good source of amino acids
Gelatin contains amino acids such as glycine and proline, which are involved in maintaining connective tissues.

🐕 Very palatable
The natural meaty smell and flavour can make it useful as a food topper, particularly for fussy dogs or dogs whose appetite is poor.

💧 Adds moisture
Because the jelly contains a lot of water, it can be an easy way to add extra moisture to a dog’s food.

⚠️ One important point

Homemade pig-leg/chicken-foot jelly isn’t a complete balanced meal by itself. Think of it as a nutritious addition or topper rather than a replacement for a complete dog food.

Also, never add onion, garlic, excessive salt, stock cubes or seasoning. And if you’re giving the actual cooked bones/feet, be careful — cooked bones can splinter and should not be fed. The safest option is to strain the finished broth/jelly thoroughly and give the gelatinous meat/stock without cooked bones.

As I have 2 older boys, and baby girl who injured herself - plus being golden retrievers- joint care is a must.

Sometimes, you have to STOP what you doing and LISTEN to what your dog is telling you. Why dogs comes to you for no reason and starts licking you and then over sudden, settles back to enjoy your company.

I have been studying non stop for over a week every spare time I have, my dogs feel and smell the tension and bit of stress as I am trying to make sure all my answers to assignments are good. That means flicking through pages to find the answer.
Kiana- came up on the sofa and laid next to me, as I was typing she started licking my hand. As I stopped, my tension went away, I relaxed fully enjoying the couple minutes giving my attention just to her. She stopped licking my hand and placed the head on my belly before rolling on her back to get belly rub. Now, I am calmer- I can continue writing my coursework.

Instead of telling the dog to stop, or asking to go away- just stop and listen to what she is trying to say.

Down Stay while owners walk away is probably one of the hardest things to do for the dogs because they want to be close to you all the time. Some dogs will do it perfectly, others will struggle.
The walking away part is easy- the hard thing is to walk away from the dog and sit down away from them- they want to come to you as you see Edith black Labrador getting up, the second mummy tries to sit down.

Mabel- puppy class student after 1 lesson of nicely walking on the lead.

Mummy send me this video and a message:
“@⁠⁨⁠I⁠n⁠e⁠t⁠a⁠⁩ , the lead/ walk training has made such a difference with Maple already! Can’t wait for next week X”

This is why I do what I do- so the owners have every tool necessary to learn in classes and to practice at home.
Before classes started mum and dad have been teaching different behaviors which what every owners should do.
But to smash lead walking in 1 lesson- it’s just amazing. ❤️
