A slightly different view for my admin time today 🌇

All of my reports are out, the majority of my outstanding appts have been booked in, if I’ve sent you a date and time please can you confirm asap so I can send out more to those patiently waiting - i’d be smashing all of my to do list if only I could drive through Bacup and give out the last box of these bloody Christmas goodies 🫣

I do have a slight change in the diary midweek next week so I have some last minute appts available weds / thurs if there is anyone needing a session - get in touch if so

Enjoy the weekend whatever you are doing - I’m lucky enough to be watching two shows today and tomorrow, Hercules and stranger things!

Well this is not the start to the year I had planned!

After a washout of 25, we said 26 was going to be our year. Only for me to then have to stop working in the first week of it due to this illness coming back and flooring me 🫣 with January already being my busiest month of the year, a week out and having to rearrange sessions has just made this month that little bit more difficult

But a big thank you to the clients who have sadly had to have their appts shifted for doing so with no hassle!

I’ve had three ‘helpers’ keeping me well looked after. One who’s actually done quite a lot and then two who have taken it upon themselves to be hot water bottles, where would I be without them ❤️

First day back to work today, setting off the year as we mean to go on with lots of horse kisses, even if they were slightly unwanted at the time 🤣

Now sat going through all of my Christmas messages to get you all appts (and apologies to those who have only received their little Christmas treat today or are yet to receive one, illness over Christmas left me and Jack not doing a great lot - should hopefully be finished this weekend)

I’d like to wish all of my lovely clients a merry Christmas and a happy new year! ❤️

This year has been a hard one for us personally, with life throwing everything and the kitchen sink at us. I’ve taken quite a lot of time away from social media both personally and on my business page but I enjoy every little check in with clients, hearing about all of your successes and accomplishments, even more so when mine take a step back.

This time of year is one of my favourites where I get to give a little Christmas magic back to those who have used me. I don’t promote myself, I don’t advertise and if you asked me to sell myself I’d probably melt in a puddle of embarrassment but I count myself so lucky because my clients do it all for me and I appreciate every one of you both old and new for having me on your team.

The first deliveries were loaded into the back of the car and are being delivered out as we speak, I’ve already bumped into several Christmas Eve rides both of my own clients and other horsey people out and about enjoying their hobby. There should be two more days of deliveries in between Boxing Day and NYE so don’t panic if you’ve not received anything today! Every year I tell myself I’m going to be more organised and every year Jack rolls his eyes when it comes to Christmas Eve and we are out racking up more miles than Santa 🎄

What a day to work a 13 hour treatment clinic outside 💨 Not sure who was trying to avoid the rain more here, Alisha or Lady!

Social media really isn’t my thing at the moment, and I’m super lucky to not have to rely on promoting myself for work. But, after my 6 day work week has been busy busy busy, a quick post was needed after I finished super strong with ten horses treated today over 13 hours on one yard. I am well and truly ready for my day off tomorrow!

Reports, invoices, emails to vets and anyone awaiting appointments I will try to get through tomorrow once I’ve had a minute to lie down 🤣

We did it! ❤️

5k PB of 36 minutes 41 seconds, non stop running! We are both very proud of ourselves!

The fundraising has been immense, a huge thankyou to everyone for donating! However we still need a couple of donations before it closes

Hello lovely friends - our 5k race at Chester zoo is fast approaching! Tonight me and Jack have just managed to complete our first 5k training run without stopping! That was a whopping whole 40 minutes of non stop running for me (it might have been slow but it was non stop!). Something neither of us would have thought possible a few years ago. We aren’t where we want to be yet in terms of our health, but we are a lot closer than we were three years ago!

Tuesday was a day of dogs 🐶

Pedro and Freddie showed me some love by shedding ALL over me - I left with more of their hair on me than my own

Teddio showed me some love by letting me work on him with every angle possible once he’d really relaxed into his treatment, I do think he thought there weren’t enough belly rubs included though!

Today I started off the day with a promise to myself I was going to take more content for social media
Horse 1 I forgot to take my phone out
Horse 2 I remembered as I was walking away
Horse 3/4/5 I forgot
Horse 6 I took a photo of its ass
Horse 7 didn’t even get a look in

Note to self must try harder next week 🫣

It’s been a busy week, reports coming out tonight / tomorrow morning and then I’ll hopefully catch up on admin on those who have messaged in the past 48 hours

Back home from Barcelona and back to work today. Thankyou to everyone for being so patient whilst we were off checking on my auntie, I’m still catching up on bookings and check ins and will hopefully have them all finished off by the morning so don’t worry if you are still waiting for a response

I have missed my little naughty angel so much 😇
I don’t think however that Jack will miss being in charge of the horses now I’m back home 😈

When your equipment goes missing during a treatment, there’s only one place it could be when there is a younger bulldog brother around!
