As part of the ABRS+ Equicentric Futures Project we’ve made a small change that’s had a huge impact 👏 Thanks to guidance from (and a hand from our welder neighbour Sol) we’ve given our horses social windows! Horses are herd animals and allogrooming isn’t just a sweet moment - it’s an important part of our horses lives, especially if we want to keep stress to a minimum! Just like humans, social isolation does our mental health no favours and horses need time together to improve their wellbeing, develop bonds and make life better. By improving their lives inside the stable 🏠 we’ve also seen life outside of the stable improve 🌳 By increasing their time together our herd is getting on better, feeling calmer and overall we have a happier crew - what more could you want! 🐴💕
