🌭 Calling all Dachshund mums, dads and their little sausages! 🌭

As our Dachshund Meet-Up approaches this Sunday 2nd August, we thought we’d let you know what you can look forward to!

In conjunction with Daisy’s Dachshund Meet Ups, one of London’s largest Dachshund communities, they’ll be taking over LMH Townhouse from 11am–2pm for a day dedicated entirely to our favourite little long dogs.

Here’s what’s in store…

✨ Mini Glow-Ups
Our grooming team will be in our Academy Grooming Room offering mini pamper sessions including:
• Brush outs
• Nail clips
• Teeth cleaning
• Coat care advice and grooming tips to help keep your Dachshund looking their very best.

🐾 Expert Advice
We’ll have three specialists on hand throughout the event:

🐶 Anna Webb Anna Webb our favourite dog nutritionist offering advice on diet and behaviour.

🩺 Dr Caroline Allen Dr Caroline Allen FRCVS an experienced veterinary surgeon and former Chief Vet at the RSPCA, will be available to provide a second opinion on any health concerns you may have.

🦴 Canine chiropractor Brodie Marriott will be giving complimentary back health checks and sharing advice on keeping those precious long backs healthy and strong.

🧥 Perfect Coat Fittings
Representatives from CLOUD7 GmbH, alongside our retail team, will be helping you find the perfect Dachshund-fit coats ready for the colder months.

🎀 A Little Dachshund Glamour
We’ll also be joined by ’s lovely mummy, who will have a tray full of her beautiful gemmed fur clips—perfect if your little sausage fancies a touch of sparkle!

☕ Treats for Everyone
Every Dachshund will receive a complimentary Puppuccino and biscuits, and all guests will enjoy 10% off throughout the day across our café, dog deli and boutique.

🏡 Explore the Townhouse
We’ll be opening the entire building for the occasion from our café and grooming academy to our luxury daycare and rooftop garden so your little sausages can explore, play and make plenty of new friends in air conditioned rooms ❄️

Well done for doing so incredibly well! 👏🐾

Vera is studying towards her ICMG Track 1 (Professional dog grooming) & 2 (advanced dog grooming) qualifications course, and she’ll be the first to admit it hasn’t all been smooth sailing!

Dog grooming is an incredibly skilled and physically demanding profession, Vera has discovered muscles she didn’t even know she had! But we’ve loved watching her progress, particularly the wonderful connection she has with the dogs she works with and the fantastic results she is now achieving. We’re incredibly proud of how far she has come, and it won’t be long before she takes her exams. ❤️

Technically, anyone can call themselves a dog groomer. You can take a cheap online course and set up a grooming business, which is something we find quite concerning.

At Love My Human Academy, we believe proper grooming training needs to be hands-on. Students need to learn how to safely handle a dog, understand and feel different coat types, use professional equipment correctly and, most importantly, gain real practical experience working with dogs.

When choosing a groomer, don’t be afraid to ask about their qualifications, training and experience. Grooming isn’t just about making a dog look beautiful you’re trusting someone with the safety, comfort and wellbeing of a much-loved member of your family.

Did you know we bake all of our baked goods in-house? 🧁🍪🐾

In fact, everything looks so good that sometimes it’s hard to tell whether a cookie or macaron is for you… or your dog! 😂

We use the finest ingredients for both except, of course, our dog-friendly bakes contain no added salt, sugar or anything that isn’t suitable for our four-legged customers. 🐶♥️

Thanks to the wonderful and our own talented bakers, our café is always filled with freshly baked treats for you and for them.
