Barry’s big day out ended with us finding not just 1, but 5 grass seeds in his ears!🌾
Barry didn’t give much away to his owners that he was hiding these pesky seeds down there but they’d made themselves comfortable!

Hopefully Barry will be hearing colours now!!💚

Little Lyra was very nervous coming in for her sedation today. She needed extra cuddles and love to let her know it was all okay. After being so brave, we were able to remove this pesky grass seed from her ear and make her much more comfortable!🖤

Grass seeds are still causing many of our patients issues. Please keep being aware and stay away from the freshly cut grass this summer!🌾

Meet a very sleepy Winnie💕
5 month old Labrador Winnie came to us for some investigation into her upset tummy last week. A few x-rays and cuddles later she stole our hearts. Winnie was transferred to our hospital branch in Streatham Hill for closer observations and we hope she is feeling better soon Winnie🖤

Meet Finn🩶
This 5 month old kitten came into us this week to investigate a limp. Finn was very well behaved for our team as we took x-rays and examined his bad leg. Hopefully with a bit of rest and pain relief medication he’ll be bouncy around again in no time!

Look how gorgeous he is!

Trixie had a haematoma in her ear and needed it drained by our vet Liz. Unfortunately it refilled as they often do and she needed some drains placed surgically.
Trixie is doing really well and will be back to drain free ears soon!🤎

Apollo update!
We had our gentle giant back in for a recheck today, his ears are less inflamed after treatment so much so that we could see all the way down and find this little bit of plant!🌾
Hopefully after removing this and some more medication Apollo will be hearing colours!!🫶🏼
