Hi 👋 Thanks so much for your feedback on Phase 1 of the app — really appreciate you taking the time to flag things. Here's what's being worked on based on your input, and it'll be live on your sitter profile page by next week:
Flexible pricing for Dog Walking & Drop-ins — you'll be able to set your rate for both 30 and 60 minutes, so you can charge clients properly based on visit length instead of one flat per-visit rate.
Extended Stay Discount for Boarding, House Sitting & Day Care — completely optional, but if you'd like to encourage longer bookings, you can now set a percentage discount for clients who book 7+ days.
An "I don't accept" section — pick from a list of options (e.g. unneutered dogs/cats, senior pets, reactive dogs, etc.) to clearly flag what you're not able to take on. This will be highlighted on your profile so owners can't miss it before reaching out.
Dog size preferences — you'll be able to specify which dog sizes you're comfortable caring for.
Keep the feedback coming — this is exactly the kind of input that's shaping what gets built next! 🐾

Best thank-you gifts you've given (or received) as a pet sitter?

I've been thinking about the small extras that make pet sitting feel personal instead of transactional — things like a little handmade card, a treat bag, a "report" of what the pet got up to, or even a small gift for the owner when you hand the pet back.

Curious what this community has done (or received) that actually landed well.

Sitters — what's something you've made or given that owners loved?
Owners — what's a small touch from a sitter that genuinely surprised you or made you rebook?

Doesn't have to be fancy — even something simple counts. Just trying to get a feel for what people actually value vs. what's just gimmicky.
