Keen Kong is a star patient - she’s just started treatment for lameness and a hunched back. She keeps herself very busy during sessions and is managing an impressive number of needles. We hope to see more improvement over the next few weeks! Small but mighty 💪

Perfect Penny is currently off on her holibobs and is keen to show just how well she’s walking now! Poor Pen got progressively weaker in February and was unable to use her hindlegs at all, due to suspected disc disease. She’s worked hard since then and has been very good for her electro acupuncture sessions, even if she does give a lot of side eye 👀 it’s great to see this lovely lady enjoying the seaside!

Amazing Arthur is having electro acupuncture to help with urinary retention, alongside specialist investigations and medication. He finds the sessions relaxing, helped by distractions with treats, of course! He did amazing in his session yesterday and we added some needles to help his mobility going up and down stairs now he’s a bit older. What a super star!

Normally a very busy little lady, marvellous Mia had a wonderful snooze during her session for hindlimb lameness. She’s responding well to acupuncture, physio and analgesic medication.

Superstar Stanley loves his treats! He’s responding really well to a course of acupuncture for back pain. He copes really well with the sessions, supported by his 2 trusty canine pals.

Special Sushi had her third session for paroxysmal dyskinesia and she is doing great! She’s having fewer episodes and is such a trooper during the sessions. She is also having reiki and responding well to this. Good job, Sushi!

Super Shep did really well with his third session for forelimb lameness today - he tolerated more needles than before and for the full 20 minutes! He even had a blink-and-you-miss-it mini nap :) good job Shep!

Effervescent Evie has had a few acupuncture sessions now for general control of joint pain, following a serious accident several years ago falling out of a tree. Initially unsure, the treats have convinced her this is ok and she now relaxes into a snooze during the treatment. She’s a great responder and is moving better!

Awesome August is having treatment for gastrointestinal motility issues - so far he’s responding well! The second photo expresses what August thinks about the treatment 😂 but he’s a gentle soul and tolerates needling well. Good job August!

LVA had a trip to the stables! Normally we treat dogs and cats but we made an exception for outrageous Ozzie, a friend of LVA. Ozzie has a bad back and has had physio, so we are trying acupuncture to see if we can help this gentle gent feel more comfortable. He loved his hay net and was super chilled during his treatment - so let’s hope he responds well!
