Pet Care’s Pet Of The Month - March 🥇

March’s dog of the month (1) was Gunner Fletcher, Gunner is a very big boy, weighing 60kgs but such a gentle giant! He was castrated with us and recovered from this very well! 🐾 🐶

March’s dog of the month (2) was Teddy Costa-Correa who has been chosen by our team after having a big surgery with us and revisiting daily for blood tests to monitor his calcium levels. We are pleased to see him continuing to do well and we are happy that he is still excited to see us each time ! 🐾 🐶

March’s cat of the month was Jax Mugami who is an 8 week old kitten that has spent a lot of time at the practice after being poorly for the first few weeks of his life. With his strong will and determined parents he has made a miraculous recovery! 🐾 🐱

Pet Care’s Pet Of The Month - January/February 🥇

January/February's dog of the month was Kez Munden who was chosen by the team after his frequent visits to us after having a large mass from his inner thigh. His recovery was not smooth but despite this, he was full of love and energy and we looked forward to seeing him each time! 🐾 🐶

January/February's cat of the month was Bilbo Unwin who is just shy of 22 years old. Bilbo has been with Pet Care for many years and visits often for his blood tests, blood pressure checks and injections for various medical conditions, he is always very brave and a model patient. 🐾 🐱

Pet Care’s Pet Of The Month - December 🥇

Decembers dog of the month was Dexter Gibson who had been chosen by our team after having a difficult few weeks at Pet Care, needing major abdominal surgery to remove a foreign body from his stomach. He has recovered well and is back to his crazy normal self! 🐾 🐶

Decembers cat of the month was Tiger-Lily Mackenzie who is 21 and a half and visits Pet Care's nurses on a regular basis for blood tests and blood pressure measures for her ongoing medical conditions. She is a very sweet girl with very dedicated owners! 🐾 🐱

We have had a female bunny rabbit bought into us as a stray found in Horsa Road. If you are the owner & are missing this little one please get in contact with us on 01322 346 173. Let’s get her home in time for Christmas 🎄❤️ 🐾

Pet Care’s Pet Of The Month🥇

This months dog of the month is Belle Richards who has been chosen by our team after her frequent visits to us for her Osteoarthritis management. She is always bright, happy and wagging her tail 🐾 🐶

This months cat of the month is Marco Cusick. Marco is 23 years old and we often receive pictures of him exploring in the woods. He comes to us frequently for blood tests and is always so well behaved! 🐾 🐱

Sadly we’ve had two cats brought in deceased within the last 24hours. We are desperate to find their owners to let them know.

Firstly, an entire male, young, black and white cat. Black body with 4 white paws and large white tip on tail. No collar and no chip. Found on Manor Road opposite Londis.

Secondly, a female black/tan tabby cat - almost bengal looking. Found in Eversley avenue, no chip, no collar.

Pet Care has good connections with many rescue charities. One of them is New Hope Animal Rescue based in Herne Bay. They do an amazing job to try and save as many animals as they can and find them the perfect place to stay till they are ready to be rehomed or stay and live happily.

We were greatful to have the opportunity to visit them and volunteer for a day!

Our main job was to clean up the horses pasture and the pig's field, as you can see in the pictures, we had such a great time and lots of laughs, we had a blast!

We are so happy to have had this opportunity to look behind the scenes, make the horse and pig paddock clean for a day, and we definitely would like to do it again.
