A bittersweet announcement as I come to the end of over 5 wonderful years of Heather & The Hounds. I have formed the most wonderful pack of both dogs and humans over the years and I’m heartbroken to be saying goodbye. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me until now, whether you have 4 legs or 2, it’s been a privilege and there are no words to describe how much I’ve learned and grown alongside some wonderful pups.

I will be continuing my career in dog care as a Senior Daycare Assistant at WagWorks, soon to open in Islington. I’m so excited for this next step and to meet lots of lovely furry friends!

If there are any dog walkers out there looking to add to their pack I have some pawfect pooches seeking a new best friend in the Finsbury Park area. Please reach out with any recommendations - professional and insured walkers only!

Utterly heartbroken to say that Georgie passed over the rainbow bridge on Saturday morning after a short battle with cancer. She was the silliest and sassiest girl who I had the honour of living with for two and a half years.

Thank you G for always bringing me welcome home presents, always protecting the house from those pesky foxes and cats and for always cheering me up when it was most needed. Truly one of kind, you’ve no idea how much you’ll be missed.

Keep that tail wagging gorgeous girl 🤍🤎🤍

It’s been a while but here’s a Furry Fact 🤓🐾

Studies show that dogs can learn and retain around 250 words and gestures, roughly the same as a two year old human 👶

So if your wee one and your fur baby seem to have a special bond, it could be because they’re speaking the same language 🤔

Three years, lots of dogs and a lot of steps later… 👣🐾🐾

Three years ago today I made one of the best (and slightly daunting) decisions to start Heather & The Hounds 💙

It’s not always been easy and for a while at the beginning I worried I’d never have have enough clients to make it work. Now I’m bursting at the seams with beautiful doggos and equally wonderful owners. THANK YOU to my clients, those who were there from the beginning and those who have joined me along the way, for trusting me with your fur babes, they make me so happy every day 🥰

Here’s to many more walks, cuddles and ball throwing 🕺🎾💙

🤍 Robbie 🤍

It is with the most broken of hearts that I have to let my wonderful Heather & The Hounds family know that my original best boy Robbie passed away on Tuesday morning.

I know so many of you loved seeing his pictures and videos when I went home and I can honestly say if it wasn’t for Rob I probably wouldn’t be doing what I do now. Thank you so much to everyone this week who’s given cuddles and condolences - the pups especially have been helping me a lot.

Thank you Robbie for making my love of dogs so humongous that it’s become my life. Always the original Heather’s Hound, sleep tight my boy. 💙🐾

Heather & The Hounds is 2! ✌🏻

Two years ago today I started out on this wonderful adventure that really has changed my life for the better. What started with pandemic fuelled unemployment, turned a wee idea into a job which makes me so happy everyday. 🥰

THANK YOU, to all my amazing clients for trusting me with their beautiful fur babies, I couldn’t do this without your support. 💙🐾
