๐ฆท๐ฑ Smile Spotlight: Holly ๐ฑ๐ฆท
Meet the lovely Holly, who recently visited us at Abingdon Veterinary Clinic for a dental procedure.
Before her treatment, Holly posed for a photo with her trusted veterinarian, Jose, while getting ready for the day ahead. We think they make a pretty great team! ๐
Dental health is a vital part of your pet's overall wellbeing, yet it's often one of the most overlooked aspects of their care. Just like us, cats can develop plaque and tartar build-up, gum disease, tooth decay, and oral infections. Without treatment, dental disease can cause significant pain and discomfort, making it difficult for pets to eat, groom, and enjoy their daily lives.
In some cases, bacteria from dental disease can even enter the bloodstream and affect important organs such as the heart, liver, and kidneys.
Regular dental check-ups allow us to identify problems early and recommend the most appropriate treatment before they become more serious. Professional dental procedures help remove plaque and tartar from areas that can't be reached through brushing alone, keeping your pet's mouth healthy and pain-free.
Holly was a fantastic patient throughout her visit, and we're delighted to have helped her on the path to a healthier smile. ๐ธ
