When we started , Wednesdays always felt like the quietest day of the week. A day people seemed to want to rush through just to get a little closer to the weekend. But that’s not how our dogs see the world.

So we wanted to give the middle of the week a little lift. A reason to fill our feeds with something that made us smile: our dogs, the moments we share with them and a little more joy.

Over the years, Wednesday has somehow become one of the brightest days of our week. Seeing your photos and all those memories together has turned it into something far bigger than we ever imagined, and it genuinely fills my heart with so much joy.

And as the evenings grow darker, it feels like a lovely time to remember why we started it. Because when you put a little positivity out into the world, it has a funny way of finding its way back to you.

This is our little corner of the internet, and every Wednesday you make it shine brightly for the dogs we all love. 💜

Designed to be together. 🤎🩷 If you had to name this combination, what would you call it? 👀

Rosewood & Chestnut is one of those combinations that scratches something in my brain. It reminds me of rosehips against fallen chestnut leaves, that mix of dusky pinks and rich, earthy browns that starts appearing everywhere at this time of year.

You’ve got the richness and warmth of Chestnut sitting against that softer, cooler Rosewood, and I love the balance between the two. It gives the pairing depth while still letting each colour hold its own.

The same goes for mixing metals. Bringing warm and cool finishes together adds another layer, and gives you even more freedom to create something individual rather than following one set combination.

That’s a big part of the excitement for me when I design our collections. I’m always thinking about how colours, hardware and different pieces can work across the wider Wyld world, so you can keep experimenting and style them in a way that feels completely your own. 🤎🩷

Let’s talk Butterfly Bows! 🎀🌹

Well, this post was originally going to feature both Rosewood & Dovetail, but you sold us out of Dovetail bows in record time on launch night! So Rosewood gets the spotlight today until we can restock for you. Please do sign up for email notifications if you’re waiting for Dovetail to return. 💜

I absolutely loved designing our signature Butterfly Bows. I must admit, they were a real labour of love to get the proportions correct and combination of materials. In fact, we made around eight or nine samples before I was completely happy with the shape and proportions. I had such a clear idea of how I wanted them to look, and I’m SO glad we took the time to get every little detail right because you guys absolutely love them!

I wanted to create something with its own distinctive shape that felt unmistakably Wyld Cub, but that you could style in lots of different ways. They look beautiful on a collar, at the neck of your Step & Switch® harness or on the back of an Adjustable harness. And of course, I love seeing you mix and match them across your collections!

If you've been watching our TikToks or spotted our packing videos on Stories recently, you'll probably recognise the lovely Ella! 💜

I've always wanted to share more of everyday life at Wyld Cub with you. There's so much happening behind the scenes, but between designing collections and running the business, I don't always get around to showing you half of it!

So it's been really lovely having Ella involved, helping me capture more of those moments, even if we occasionally end up making a completely ridiculous TikTok together! 😂

I know lots of you already know Ella and Nala from socials and meet-ups, so you'll know just how warm, kind and fun she is, and why she's such a wonderful addition to our little team!

And we can't forget the other important member of Ella's family, Stefan… her baby sourdough starter! 🍞😂

I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty more of her around here! 💜

One of my favourite things over the past year has been seeing so many more big girls and boys wearing Wyld Cub! 💜

For years, so many of you asked us to introduce a harness design and sizes for bigger dogs, so being able to finally welcome so many more breeds into our Wyld world with Step & Switch® has been incredibly special.

I absolutely love seeing the same collections styled on so many different breeds, from the tiniest little ones right through to our gorgeous bigger dogs. And seeing all your photos over the past year has honestly made me so happy!

Speaking of our bigger sizes, you completely blew us away with the launch of Rosewood & Dovetail! 🌹🕊️

Dovetail XL sold out in record time on launch night, and we're now running very low on a few other sizes too. We’ll be restocking as soon as possible, so please bear with us!

We’re back from PATS after a full few days, and one of the best parts is catching up properly with our amazing retailers.

Supporting Wyld Cub at different stages of our journey, and having time away from emails and day-to-day means a lot. 💜

Events like this always make me reflect on how far Wyld Cub has come. Watching the brand grow and being part of such a brilliant industry feels very special.

One thing I came away especially proud of was Step & Switch® and how warmly it has been received across the industry, from customers, stockists to other brands, all within just one year of launching.

Step & Switch® has become such an important part of our creative philosophy. It brings together so much of what I’ve always loved about designing: colour, styling, versatility and giving you the freedom to make something feel completely your own.

It has never been tougher to run a small business and build a brand, which makes supporting the businesses who stock Wyld Cub across the country feel even more important.

We’ve always been such an in-person brand. For years we toured the country doing events because I wanted to meet our customers, hear what you thought, understand your dogs and learn from the people actually using the things I was designing. Those conversations have shaped Wyld Cub in so many ways.

Pairing back on events hasn’t been easy, but knowing you can now walk into one of our stockists, see and try the collections, means a huge amount to me.

I also want to acknowledge just how much talent there is within this industry. I spent time with so many brilliant businesses this weekend, run by incredibly creative women and men building brands I admire so much.

When you love what you do and respect the individuality and creativity around you, celebrating what other people achieve comes very naturally. Collectively we grow the industry to make it a better place for our dogs!

We didn’t take many pics… but did I manage to find all the dogs at PATS? Absolutely. 😂

I’ve come home feeling incredibly grateful for the people we get to do this alongside. 💜
