💧 🐄 Fluid Therapy Training Session 🐄💧

Today we held a training session with Nimrod, focusing on oral hydration therapy in cattle and how to carry out fluid therapy effectively on farm.

We covered:
💧 How to carry out effective fluid therapy
🧪 The science behind prompt therapy
🐄 The advantages of different fluid therapy products
📚 Practical considerations when using fluid therapy on farm

Thank you to Katie from Nimrod for her informative talk and support, and to the Taylor family for hosting the session.

We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch from Thai Orchid Dalton — thank you to the team there.

Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. It was great to have such good engagement throughout the session.

If you have any queries regarding fluid therapy or Selekt products, please contact the team at Ark Vet Centre on 01576 202552 ☎️

🐄🏆 Scottish Agriculture Awards 2026 – Animal Health Provider of the Year! 🏆🐄

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Ark Vet Centre has been shortlisted as a finalist for Animal Health Provider of the Year at the Scottish Agriculture Awards 2026! 🎉

It’s a huge honour to be recognised alongside two other fantastic companies, and we’re incredibly proud of our whole team who work tirelessly to provide the very best care and support to our farming clients and their livestock. 🐮🐑🐷

Being nominated for an award that celebrates the contribution animal health providers make to Scottish agriculture means a great deal to us. We’re lucky to work with so many brilliant farmers every day, and this recognition is as much a reflection of those relationships as it is of our team. 💚

We’re looking forward to swapping our wellies for something a little smarter and heading along to the Scottish Agriculture Awards 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow on Thursday 22nd October! 🥂✨

A huge congratulations to all the finalists across the awards — and best of luck to our fellow Animal Health Provider of the Year finalists, Davidsons Farm & Country Ltd and East of Scotland Farmers. 🤞

We’ll keep you posted… wish us luck! 🏆🐄💚
