Hoppy International Rabbit Day! 🐰

Today is all about celebrating our long-eared, fluffy companions and raising awareness of what rabbits really need to stay happy and healthy.

Rabbits are intelligent, social animals with complex needs – from the right diet and plenty of space to companionship, enrichment and regular veterinary care.

And when it comes to keeping your bunny happy and healthy, we’re always here for them. 💙

Sadly we’ve had no interest in Bob! If you know of someone who’d take a chance or a farm who’s looking for a mouser - please call us on 01446 733406

Say hello to Bob!

Bob was brought to us by a concerned member of the public - he had a significant injury above his left eye.

We have treated Bob, but unfortunately he is a stray and now better, has no home to return to.

This very handsome gentleman is shy but not aggressive, he is slowly warming up to us and has started using his litter tray 💕

We are posting to see if there is anyone who may be interested in a Bob in their home. He would need to be the only pet and we’d recommend a calm, adult only home so he could really thrive ❤️

Bob will be vaccinated, neutered and chipped to his new pawrents 🥰

Please note - a vetting process will take place and an adoption fee will be required.

Alternatively Bob could be a farm cat/ senior mouser

If you think you could offer Bob a warm home this winter, please call us on 01446 733406.

Just like us, our pets can be affected by seasonal allergens such as pollen, mould spores and dust mites - and autumn can bring its own triggers.

If your pet seems itchier than usual or you’ve noticed a change in their skin, paws or ears, don’t just put it down to the changing seasons. There are lots of ways we can help manage allergies and keep your pet comfortable.

Not sure if allergies could be bothering your pet? Speak to us. 💙

As our pets get older, some changes can be easy to put down to “just getting old”. But changes in their health, behaviour or mobility can sometimes be signs that they need a little extra support.

We’re always here for them. Whether you’ve noticed something different or simply want some reassurance about your pet’s changing needs, our veterinary team is here to listen, check them over and help you understand what’s normal and what may need a little more attention.

Because getting older is a part of life - but your pet doesn’t have to navigate it alone. 🐾💙

Autumn walks can mean muddy paths, wet grass and plenty of things for our pets to pick up along the way.

A quick paw check after your walk can help keep them comfortable and spot any problems early. 🐶
