A NEW CHAPTER FOR K8s SHORT BARK N SIDES 🐾

We’re making some exciting changes to our grooming appointments, all with one thing in mind — making grooming as calm, relaxed and enjoyable as possible for your dogs. ❤️

From now on, we’ll be working on a one dog household at a time basis.

This means when your dog comes in for their appointment, they have our full attention without other dogs coming in. You will only see the salon boys.
This means your dog will have our full attention for the whole grooming experience. They will have the entire salon and garden to themselves. This is a totally new and unique grooming experience that not many salons can offer.

Our new way of running is perfect for anxious dogs , elderly dogs, disabled dogs or rescue dogs. Or if your puppy or dog just wants us all to themselves!

🐶 Multi-dog households are still very welcome! If you have more than one dog, we can groom them together as part of your dedicated appointment.

🛁 No cages — dogs will have a comfortable, relaxed bed to chill out on while they’re with us.

✂️ Nail clips will now be offered at the start or end of the grooming day, rather than during the middle of the day.

The aim is to create a much calmer salon environment, with less hustle and bustle and more time to give each dog the care and attention they deserve.

We’re really excited about this next chapter at K8s and can’t wait to welcome your dogs into our calmer new way of grooming! 🐾

Our books are also open for NEW customers that would like to be part of our special experience.

Pearl was booked in today for a groom and teeth clean as her owner has noticed her two bottom teeth a bit stinky.

Once Pearl was up on the grooming table. We gave her teeth an examination, and found both two little teeth to be extremely wobbly. Hence the smell and plaque!

We advised against a teeth clean and for her to purchase a hard natural chew from us , to help the teeth fall out quicker.

Don’t forget to put them under your pillow pearl for your dog treat! 😬

Pearl left feeling super clean and ready for the week ahead.
