A gorgeous mix of professional cat grooming and dog grooming at Paws n Relax — because every coat needs something a little different. 💛

These two beauties were back for their regular 12-week professional grooming session, keeping their gorgeous coats healthy, comfortable and manageable. 😻✨

Flat & Long, dense cat coats can hold an incredible amount of loose undercoat, dander and natural oils. If this isn’t regularly cleared, it can begin to compact, tangle and eventually form uncomfortable matting.

Their professional groom gently clears away that dead coat and dander, works through any little tangles and resets the coat — leaving it lighter, cleaner, beautifully conditioned and able to move freely again. 🪮🛁✨

Regular grooming also means we can keep a close eye on any changes in their skin and coat along the way. 💛

Beautiful Coco was back for her regular 8-week Luxury Sculpture & VIP Cleany Teeth Treatment. ✂️🦷✨

With the weather beginning to change, we’ve switched things up a little this visit and left Coco slightly longer and floofier — still beautifully shaped and balanced, but with that gorgeous soft, cosy finish. 🥰

Her smile also had its regular preventative maintenance, helping to keep on top of visible plaque and tartar between veterinary dental checks.

PLEASE READ 📖

🔔 Please do not bring your dog for grooming while she is in season.

👀 During this time, hormonal changes can cause swelling, discharge and increased sensitivity. Your dog may also feel anxious, clingy, restless, unsettled or simply not herself. Handling, bathing, drying and grooming sensitive areas could therefore feel uncomfortable or overwhelming for her.

❤️‍🩹Most dogs come into season only every 6–8 months, so please postpone her groom until her season has completely finished and she is feeling comfortable again.

🫶🏼As a professional groomer, I have a duty of care to every dog in my salon and reserve the right to postpone an appointment if grooming is not in the dog’s best interests at that time.

This policy is based entirely on comfort, safety and welfare—because your fur baby’s wellbeing will always come first. ❤️‍🩹🐾❤️‍🩹

These beautiful sisters were back together for their regular Luxury Glow-Up Grooms & VIP Cleany Teeth Treatments. ✨

Their coats were freshly sculptured and finished with all their favourite luxury treatments, while their regular dental maintenance keeps on top of visible plaque and tartar.

And those smiles! 🦷✨ Their teeth are looking fantastic — a great example of consistent preventative maintenance.

Both girls were absolute superstars from beginning to end. Beautifully behaved, relaxed and a total pleasure to pamper. 🌸🌸

Beautiful Ellie arrived with a serious amount of loose undercoat and dander ready to come away! 😮‍💨

At this time of year, seasonal coat changes can mean huge amounts of dead undercoat are released. In a dense, long-haired coat this can become trapped, leading to tangles, matting and coat compaction if it isn’t properly cleared.

A thorough de-shed, deep cleanse and luxury coat treatment had Ellie feeling lighter, beautifully fresh and silky again. And what a good girl she was throughout! 🌸🫶🏼

👑 MJ — MY BEAUTIFUL SENIOR LADY

At 14 years young, gorgeous MJ now needs a little extra helping hand to manage her coat. 💕

Today was about a gentle coat reset — a lovely big bath, careful de-matting, removal of loose coat and dander, followed by nourishing treatments to restore softness and condition.

As cats get older, self-grooming can sometimes become more difficult, allowing grease, loose fur and tangles to build up. By clearing and resetting MJ’s coat, we’ve made it much easier and more comfortable for her to continue with her own grooming at home. 🐈✨

She handled her session beautifully and left feeling lighter, fresher and far less overwhelmed by that big coat.

💛 Regular professional grooming isn’t simply about making a long-haired cat look beautiful — it’s about maintaining skin and coat health, preventing painful matting and keeping them comfortable at every stage of life.
