Beautiful Freya came to visit us and wasted absolutely no time investigating the consult room, sampling the snacks and getting VERY close to the camera! 📸🐾

Did someone order a tiny leopard? 🐆😍

The gorgeous Jogsy came to visit us, and we couldn’t stop admiring that beautiful spotted coat… or those enormous green eyes! Safe to say, Jogsy certainly knows how to make an entrance. 🤎

How many spots do you think there are? We gave up counting! 🤣🐾

Anyone else getting Hagrid’s dog vibes?! 🧙‍♂️🐾😂

Before anyone comes for us — yes, we know Loki is a Cane Corso and Fang from the Harry Potter films was a Neapolitan Mastiff. 🤣 But LOOK at those big, soulful, slightly concerned eyes and tell us you don’t see it too?! 🥹

Lovely Loki came to see us with an aural haematoma — a collection of blood that develops within the ear flap, often following repeated head shaking or scratching. 👂🩺

There’s usually a reason for that irritation, such as an ear infection, allergy or another underlying ear problem, so treating the haematoma is only part of the job — it’s also important to investigate why it developed in the first place.

Loki’s contribution to the investigation was mainly to sit beautifully, behave like the bestest boy and stare directly into our souls with those enormous eyes. 🥹💙

Very helpful. 14/10 patient. 😂

Hagrid, if you’re missing a distant relative of Fang… we may have found him. 🧙‍♂️🤣🐾

Normal-sized cats were apparently unavailable.
So instead, we got Belle & Chewie. 😂🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Two gorgeous Maine C**n girls featuring:
✨ Ears for receiving satellite signals
✨ Tails approximately the size of an entire additional cat
✨ Paws with their own hairstyles
✨ Enough fluff to require their own postcode
✨ Occasional tongue malfunctions 👅

We’re obsessed. 😭🖤

When you’re a fully grown woman but the vet appointment requires emotional support cuddles. 🥺😂

Meet lovely Millie, who discovered that the safest place during her visit was apparently in the nurse’s arms. 💕

We can’t promise every patient will fit quite so comfortably… but Millie was more than happy to give it a go. 🤣

And with those eyes, we’re fairly certain she could convince the whole team to carry her around all day. 🐾❤️

Unfortunately for Gatsby, that’s not quite how the rating system works. 😂🐈‍⬛

He spent his visit tucked up in his carrier on a cosy blanket, observing the team with an expression that can only be described as deeply unimpressed.

We’re hoping he’ll reconsider his review once he’s had some time to process the experience. 🤣💙

When your outfit is so complicated it requires genetics to explain it. 💅😂

Meet gorgeous Flare, showing off her beautiful tortoiseshell colouring. 🖤🧡

Fun fact: almost all tortoiseshell cats are female! The genes responsible for orange and black coat colouring are carried on the X chromosome, which is why this gorgeous combination is overwhelmingly seen in girls. 🧬🐈

Male torties can exist — but they’re very rare!

Flare, meanwhile, has absolutely no interest in the science. She would just like everyone to admire her. 😂✨

POV: you came in for a routine vaccination but decided to conduct a full inspection of the premises first. 🔍🐈

Meet Jake, who joined us for his vaccinations and very quickly established that sitting politely on the consult table was not on today’s agenda. 😂

Cupboards inspected.
Equipment investigated.
Treat supply location noted. 👀
Vaccination eventually permitted. 💉✅

We’re not entirely sure who was examining who by the end of the appointment. 🤣🐾

Handsome Rory came to see us for a chat about neutering — although judging by photo number one, he had some VERY strong feelings about the subject. 🤣

When (or whether) to neuter a dog isn’t always a simple one-size-fits-all answer. 🐾 Factors such as age, breed, size, health, behaviour and lifestyle can all form part of the discussion.

That’s why we’re always happy to talk through the potential benefits and considerations with owners and make a plan that’s appropriate for the individual dog. 🩺💙

Rory eventually recovered from the conversation… although we’re not entirely convinced he appreciated being included in the decision-making process. 😂
