A little late sharing this one, but I wanted to show you all my groom from 🇧🇪✂️
Last weekend I had the absolute privilege of travelling to Belgium to compete at Groomania - the biggest grooming competition in the world, alongside some of the most incredible groomers in our industry.
I didn’t go there expecting to win. For me, it was about stepping outside my comfort zone, learning, challenging myself and representing Wales on an international stage. 🏴❤️
Standing in a ring surrounded by World Champion groomers was honestly a little surreal… and the imposter syndrome was VERY real 😂
I know there are things I want to improve, and like every groomer I came out wishing I’d had another hour 😂 but that’s exactly why I compete.
Even after all these years grooming, I never want to stop learning.
My goal now is to keep developing my Bichon grooming, learn as much as I possibly can and continue pushing myself , not to be better than anyone else, but to keep becoming a better groomer than I was yesterday.
Everything I learn through competing, seminars and training eventually comes back through the doors of Louisianna Grooming and into the grooms we create for your dogs. ❤️
A huge thank you to Erik’s owner Sue for trusting me to take her gorgeous boy all the way to Belgium. He was an absolute superstar. 🐾
And thank you to all of our wonderful customers who continue to support me, the salon and all the crazy opportunities this little grooming career takes me on.
From our salon in Wales to a competition ring in Belgium… not bad at all. 🥹🏴✂️
