These beautiful girls need names 🐱

I decided it was time to replace our last farm cat, Faye, after losing her suddenly a couple of months ago.

Today, I collected 2 new additions. Sisters from a local farm, just 5 months old and ready for their new jobs as "Head of Pest Control"

Any name suggestions welcome πŸ’…πŸ’ƒ

Mr. Mac is starting to learn how good scratches are 😍

The last video was loaded with comments about Mr Mac's wonderful eyelashes. Here's a close up to enjoy, not an easy video to get with such a playful foal

Mac was "abandoned" by his Mummy at teatime and was lost and alone for a few moments.
Lucky we were only across the paddock πŸ˜‚

A bittersweet goodbye to this year's filly foal, Daphne πŸ–€
She left this morning to her new home across the country, she has a long journey ahead of her today πŸš™πŸ—ΊοΈπŸ§πŸ§³
But, I know she is going to a wonderful new home, which makes seeing her leave a little easier ❀️

I've been trying to decide on a stable name for new c**t, Dreamcatcher
~
A few names have been suggested, but the name I've chosen is
😎 Macsen 😎
A strong Welsh name 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 meaning "The greatest" and also known in Welsh mythology, Macsen was a notable hero, known for his dreams of a beautiful Princess. He eventually finds her and marries her, giving the name Macsen a very romantic and noble meaning
~
More importantly, with a name like Mac, I can call him silly nicknames. like Mr Macaroni Pony πŸ™ƒ

Miss Mabel is a bit jealous 🫣
All the mares go a bit doe-eyed over a newborn foal, but Mabel has gone to the next level, she's not taken her eyes off him
~
Mabel is very respectful and doesn't get close, but I think she is feeling very broody.
Her foal is due 10th May 2027 πŸ₯
