Powys Small Pet Pampering

22/10/2026

I was in Newtown earlier today and went back to the home of Biscoff, Nova, Juno and Seren for one of their routine claw cuts! They have a busy day today as they are all off to the vet for their vaccinations later as well!

My next Newtown area visit is likely to be on Thursday 5th November, this may be the last of my regular visits until next spring, so please get in touch if you'd like to book your small pets in!

I love this!! 🐹🐹

Anatomy of a guinea pig. Scientifically questionable. Emotionally accurate. 😂

Featuring one very busy brain cell, selective hearing, judgemental eyes and a highly efficient p**p factory.

Somehow, all of this fits inside one small, fluffy potato.

Which part is the most accurate description of your guinea pigs?

Follow Guinea Pig Care & Behaviour for guinea pig behaviour, care and a little humour.

🚗✂️ Mobile Small Pet Claw Cutting ✂️🚗
(Rabbits and Guinea Pigs)

I've offered this service for many years now, ideal if you don't drive or have the time to bring your pet to me, all I need is your postcode in order to provide a quote for my fuel and travel time, then the claw cut itself is just £7 per pet! You simply bring your pet out to me in a pet carrier and I take just a few minutes to cut their nails in the safe environment of my vehicle.

Areas I have visited to date include Llandrindod Wells, Howey, Builth Wells, Cilmery, Garth, Nantmel, Rhayader, Llangurig, Caersws, Llanbister, Llanidloes, Newtown, Abermule, Kington and Knighton (Newtown area is only on days I am in that area anyway, in order to keep the cost down)

Please get in touch if you'd like to book your small pets in!

Just £7 for a rabbit or guinea pig claw cut if you come to me (near Crossgates), or let me know your postcode for a quote for my fuel and travel time to come to you!

Regular claw cuts are an important part of your small pet's routine care, so if you're not confident about cutting them yourself then please get in touch!

Overgrown claws can cause mobility problems, sore hocks, joint issues and the claws can also get caught more easily and be ripped out if they are too long.

Even if your pet's claws are very long I can still help, so if you've checked them recently and were shocked at how long they have grown then please do get in touch - I'm here to help!

We were in the Newtown area today and had a little detour to Caersws to go and cut Titch's claws, he's a six year old lop bunny who has been having his claws cut by me for several years now!

Please get in touch if you'd like me to cut your rabbit's or guinea pig's claws, groom them or bathe/clean the grease gland of your guinea pig. I can offer claw cutting on a mobile basis or at my home, for all other services you'd need to come to me, I'm just outside Crossgates.
