Puppy progress post:

One of many new puppy clients i would just like to take the time to show how the right handling and without forcing a dog can make a difference!

This little girl has now had 3 grooms with me now, and it’s so lovely to see the progress she’s making. 🐶💕

Like many puppies, she started off a little unsure of it all — wriggly, jumpy, and not quite sure what was going on, the first groom isnt always the best😅. But that’s completely normal at this age.

With time, patience, praise, and of course a few treats 😅, we’ve been able to slowly build her trust and help her feel more comfortable with the grooming process.

I always believe in not forcing a dog through a groom, as that can create fear and make future grooms much more difficult. Instead, it’s all about building things up gradually, working on the areas they can manage, and creating a positive experience each time with the groom itself and the groomer.

Now we’re getting closer and closer to the grooms we’ll be able to achieve with her as her confidence grows — and getting cuddles and kisses in return makes it all worth it. 🥰

For the most part, we got a lovely finished groom, and I’m so proud of how well she’s doing. 💗
