🐾 INTRODUCING OUR NEW PAY-AS-YOU-GO WALK & TRAIN SERVICE! 🐾

Want to book some extra training sessions for your dog but don’t have the time to commit to doing all the training yourself?

Let us take the reins! 🐕💕

Our Walk & Train sessions allow us to work one-to-one with your dog, helping to lay the foundations and build the skills you’re looking for all while getting out into the real world.

🐶 What can we work on?

• Loose-lead walking
• Recall
• Calm behaviours
• Extra socialisation
• Engagement & focus
• Reactivity
• And more, depending on your dog’s individual needs!

✨ What’s included?

A meet & greet beforehand
We’ll meet you and your dog first to discuss your goals and make sure we understand exactly what you’d like us to work on.

Written training notes
After each session, you’ll receive notes outlining what we worked on and any recommendations for continuing the training at home.

Video footage 🎥
We’ll capture some footage during sessions so you can see what we’ve been working on and follow along with your dog’s progress.

💷 Price: £30 per 60-minute session

🐾 Dachshund-Only Neutrality Walks! 🐾

Would you love to help your dachshund feel more confident and relaxed out on walks?

These monthly outdoor training walks will focus on real-life skills, confidence and neutrality around the world around us helping your dachshund learn how to cope with other dogs, people and everyday distractions without feeling like they have to interact with everything they see!

Each walk will be 1 hour, held outdoors in different locations around West Lothian and surrounding areas, with a new real-world environment to practise in each month.

We’ll work on things like:
🐾 Look & disengage
🐾 Walking calmly around other dogs
🐾 Focus & engagement
🐾 Emergency U-turns
🐾 Parallel walking
🐾 Coping with distractions
🐾 Building confidence
🐾 And, of course, plenty of sniffing & decompression!

✨ Small groups to begin with
📅 Once a month, most likely weekends
📍 Location will vary
💷 £15 per session

This isn’t about having a perfectly behaved dachshund it’s about building the skills to help them enjoy their walks and feel more confident in the real world. ❤️

Dachshund Club 🐾🌭

Dachshunds are tiny… but their personalities certainly aren’t! 😂

Our Dachshund Club is a monthly training community designed specifically for sausage dogs and their humans.

We’ll work on practical life skills, focus, engagement, recall, loose-lead walking, impulse control, confidence and all those “typical dachshund” challenges using positive, reward-based training.

But it’s not just about training…

✨ Give them more confidence and independence
✨ Learn how to understand their behaviour

Dexter made a rare appearance at work today helping with little Mable!

As Mable grows into adolescence she’s developed some big feelings towards other dogs and some people like true dachshund style so we practiced some skills to use on her upcoming walks 🐾
