Finally caught up with little Daisy.

Over our sessions we’ve spent time teaching her boundaries, how to self settle and how to regulate after the door bell rings 🔔

🐾 Our first Dachshund Training Walk! 🐾

This morning we had our very first Dachshund Training Walk and what a great morning it was! Although, I think we were all a little chilly! 🥶😂

The group spent time working on building engagement with their dogs, as well as learning how to manage their leads and deliver food effectively while out and about.

A great first session with lots of learning, plenty of sausages and some brilliant work from the dogs and their humans! 🌭❤️

I’m are SO excited to finally announce that Happy Ratters has officially landed in Scotland!

And this is a pretty special one…

…and now SCOTLAND! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We are incredibly honoured to be the FIRST club to host Happy Ratters outside of the USA and Canada and the first and currently only club bringing the sport to the UK! 🤯🐀

So, what is Happy Ratters?

Think Barn Hunt… but without the straw! 👀

Dogs get to put those incredible noses to work, searching through a variety of different hide situations to locate the rat. There are different challenges to work through, plenty of titles to earn and LOTS of opportunities to let your dog do what they do best HUNT! 🐕💨🐀

Whether you’re already hooked on Barn Hunt or you’re completely new to rat sports, we cannot WAIT to introduce you to Happy Ratters.

This is the beginning of a whole new adventure for us and we are beyond excited to see where it takes our Scottish teams! 💙

Little mable having a little lay down after our last session last night 😍

Mable started off with our 121 puppy programme but half way through we ended up changing her training plan to suit the needs of her and her owner!

This is the best part about 121 training is we can alter things to help the dog in front of us!

Dachshund Club 🐾🌭

Dachshunds are tiny… but their personalities certainly aren’t! 😂

If you’ve ever thought:

🐾 “Why does my dachshund bark at EVERYTHING?”
🐾 “Why does my sausage refuse to listen when we’re outside?”
🐾 “How do I stop the pulling?”
🐾 “Why does my dachshund have selective hearing?!”
🐾 “I just want to be able to take them places without the chaos!”

Then Dachshund Club is for you! 💛

Our Dachshund Club is a monthly training community designed specifically for sausage dogs and their humans.

We’ll work on practical life skills, focus, engagement, recall, loose-lead walking, impulse control, confidence and all those “typical dachshund” challenges using positive, reward-based training.

But it’s not just about training…

✨ Build a stronger relationship with your dachshund
✨ Give them more confidence and independence
✨ Learn how to understand their behaviour
✨ Meet other dachshund owners who get it
✨ Keep your training going beyond puppyhood

Whether your dachshund is a barking little menace, a stubborn sausage, a nervous noodle or an absolute angel (occasionally 😉) there’s always something we can work on!
