🐾 FULL-TIME KENNEL ASSISTANT WANTED 🐾

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and committed Kennel Assistant to join our team.

🕣 Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
📅 Days: 5 days per week, including one weekend day
💷 Pay: Minimum wage

🐶 THE ROLE

This is a hands-on position caring for dogs and maintaining a clean, safe environment for them.

Duties include:

• Cleaning kennels and corridors thoroughly
• Feeding dogs
• General cleaning and kennel duties
• Helping maintain high standards of hygiene
• Working around dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments

⭐ WHAT WE EXPECT

A high level of commitment is required and expected.

Our dogs depend on us every day, so reliability and excellent timekeeping are essential. Applicants must understand that animal care is a 7-day-a-week responsibility and the dogs still need looking after regardless of weekends, bad weather or how busy the day may be.

You must be:

✔️ Reliable and punctual
✔️ Hardworking and willing to get stuck in
✔️ Comfortable with physical and sometimes dirty work
✔️ Confident working around dogs
✔️ Able to work well as part of a team
✔️ Prepared to work one weekend day every week
✔️ Genuinely committed to the role

Previous kennel or animal-care experience would be an advantage, but a strong work ethic, reliability and commitment are extremely important to us.

I went out to Barney from Rescue Me a few months ago whilst he was in foster …… Today I got to see him in a home and he’s thriving ! 💜 even with his lip stuck on his teeth he’s adorable

If you’re a follower of Dogs 4 Rescue you may not recognise this gorgeous boy as Chip, a dog who was hit over the head and left for dead in a bin. I first met Chip at the rescue, Chips now in an amazing home and I was so pleased to be able to go see him happy and settled. He’s looking better than ever 💜 If you have space in your heart and home for a rescue dog please take a look at the dogs they have desperate for families to call their own 🥰
