This stunning picture has been donated to us to sell . She paid £200 as new.
It has one tiny mark on the frame but otherwise in perfect condition. We don't ask for silly prices just a decent offer to help us raise funds for our charity. If you are interested just pop a message to us and we'll sort something out. It's quite big to carry so please consider that before offers.

Best friends Mistletoe and Vogue are off to their new homes today together and we are delighted for them both.
Mistletoe and Vogue came to us separately with similar situations and with them both being the same age and only kittens at the time we decided to introduce them to one another so they could have fun in the nursery together. They became so close that we knew there was no way we could separate them. We wish both Mistletoe and Vogue the best life with their new mummy and daddy and after a home check with the couple I know both girls will certainly have fun with all the goodies they have waiting for them. Good luck girls we will miss you at the rescue ❤

Hi guys as you know we are truly struggling with funds at the minute and our GFM appeal started so well. Unfortunately the donations are few now and we've just had a vet bill for over £2.5K to pay this week.
This has obviously took a massive chunk out of our raised funds so we are asking for you to please share our appeal.

If everyone who follows us donated then that would mean a huge difference, so please donate if you can.
Vet bills are crippling for any rescue but when we are trying so hard to raise funds it's like one step forward and 10 back !

We obviously have to take any of our cats to the vets if they are poorly or need a procedure but some of the costs really do shock us ! We have spent absolutely 10 of 1000s on vet bills over the years and we really need to keep them down so sadly we can't take any new cats in until we become more stable in regards to the finances we currently have.

We have never done this before but things are so serious it's the only choice we have.
This makes us all so sad and isn't what we ever want to do because we care so much about the welfare of all cats who need us.

This, sadly, is the life of rescue we just can't function without the public helping us. We have no government funding and only our little charity shop to raise funds so please share and give us some hope . We definitely need hope ,prayers and you so make our dreams come true and help Animal Aid ❤️ carry on helping those little soul's out there.

We have a few cats going to new homes
soon, so that's wonderful news. This would have given space for more cats to come in but sadly we just can't do it......that hurts us deeply 😢

Remember a few weeks ago when three cats had been left in a cat carrier in an entry but one had escaped and only two where brought in to our care, Well good news as the third cat was caught and brought into the rescue over the weekend. All three are now safe. After a short stay in our isolation area Stitch will be reunited with Scribble and Squeeky very soon.

A very generous gentleman has donated all this photography items for us to sell to help raise funds.
How lovely is this ,thanks so much to that kind gentleman.
We can sell items individually or as a whole set. Everything is photography connected and it would be great for professionals or novices to add to their collection.
It's all excellent condition, the first case was bought for £200. We're not asking for silly prices guys we just want a decent offer .

Guys, we have raised over £3K on GFM. Thankyou to everyone who has donated plus bank transfers and donations handed into the shop, just amazing people.
YOU HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
Please keep sharing and getting this to as many people as possible. We have raised around £12k so far which is absolutely beautiful in just one week. This is a team work mission Guys so please don't let us close our doors forever.

As you know Gemma is our cattery manager and she will be on In Demand Radio a week Friday, not sure what time she'll be on but we'll update you. I remember being on Liverpool TV and in the Echo years ago it was amazing. We are getting our charity out there to lots of people who care about cats.

Little bit of good news. A cat was brought to us after someone thought she was homeless and possibly pregnant.
We scanned her and thankfully she was microchipped. We traced her owner who lives in Flint and she's driving up to Liverpool tomorrow to be united with her little girl Gin.She was shocked that she was up in Liverpool. The finder just thought he was doing the right thing.
Great news so remember to microchip your furry friends.

We have this ladies bike for sale in our charity shop. If you or someone you know is interested in buying it then it's available to see at our charity shop Animal Aid 246 County Rd Walton L4.
We are open to offers but the owner has asked for half the selling price.
We agreed to that so we can at least make something. Let us know if you are interested. Every single £1 is precious to us now, so we are happy to sell for half the selling price. If we sell this then we can take a man's bike to sell too, we just don't have the space for both.

Update on our current situation regarding the risk of permanent closure of Animal Aid Charity.
We have raised enough so far to increase our resources for a further few months, maybe until the end of the year,possibly January.
This obviously depends on vet bills over the coming months! We have had lots of donations via GFM or bank transfer , and two amazing people transferred their legacy to us now when we need it most. Massive thankyou to those two ladies and everyone who has given to us. We still have a long road ahead as both husband and son are now contesting the will that could have been our prayers answered.
We don't believe the charity will see this resolved anytime soon with the delays now in place. We can't sit back and wait for this to save our rescue so we are having another meeting again soon to discuss fund raising ideas again. Each one of us associated with the charity is passionate about the future of our rescue and we are trying our best, but it's extremely difficult and challenging for us all.
Big shoutout to Lee Butler and Claire Simmo at In Demand Radio in Liverpool who recently gave us a mention on their show. Claire has since been in touch regarding ways to help support us as both she and Lee are big cat lovers, too.There is so much for us all to do and with your continued support, we CAN do this. We've fought for our future before and won so we can do it again, we can save our Rescue, but not on our own. One thing we've learned over the decades is that we are only possible because of you. You ,the public keep this amazing little rescue surviving and that's team work guys.
