Mid Surrey Pony Club Mid Surrey Branch was established in 1931 and is part of Pony Club Area 11. We have a current membership of approximately 200.

Our base is the Pony Club Field where we hold rallies, activities, team training and shows. What a fantastic Half Term for MSPC Members! πŸ΄β˜€οΈ

We packed a huge amount into the week, with members enjoying a wide range of training, competitions and tests.

The week began with Horse & Pony Care Training and a Working Party to help prepare the field for our Novice Show. Members then put their knowledge to the test during Achievement Badge Testing, working hard to gain new badges and skills.

Sunday saw our popular Novice Show, with riders enjoying a great day of competition and gaining valuable experience in the ring.

Road Safety was a major focus during the week, with both dismounted training sessions and Road Safety Tests taking place. Well done to everyone who took part and developed these important skills for riding safely on the roads.

We were also delighted to have members representing the branch at the Area 11 Horse & Pony Care Qualifier at Squirrels Riding School, demonstrating excellent knowledge and teamwork.

The week concluded with our Efficiency Tests (E, D, D+ and C) and the C+ Care Test. Congratulations to all those who took their tests and achieved new milestones in their Pony Club journey.

A huge thank you to all our instructors, volunteers, organisers and parents who helped make the week such a success.

Most importantly, well done to all our members for their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment 😊

MOUNTED GAMES MINIS
Two teams of very excited minis took part in Bisley & Sandown Chase’s mounted games friendly competition on Sun 17th May.

The Mid Surrey team spirit was at its very best and the two teams rode fantastically. They’ve trained really hard all Winter (thank you to Vicki for giving up her Saturday mornings!) and there were a few last minute changes, but the teams were true teams; cheering each other on and shouting words of support the whole way through.

With six races in the morning then five in the afternoon it was a long but fun day with the best results:

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in yesterday’s Mini Eventing competitions! πŸŽ‰πŸ΄

There were so many brilliant β€œfirsts” throughout the day - first one day event, first event at a new height, first outing with a new pony, even first event in a new riding hat!

Whether everything went exactly to plan or a few adventures were had along the way, every rider should feel incredibly proud of completing all 3 phases. πŸ‘
